Congrats on good results hbcheryl and jazzygirl!ย
Just planning a quick walk with the dog today before heading toย the the Brewers game with my guy for date night.ย Going to skip my run.ย Hate getting all sweated up prior to going out and washing my hair twice a day is just too damaging.ย Almost 90 degrees here today.ย That ballpark beer is going to taste so good!ย Should get plenty of steps in walking back and forth to the bathroom
ย .ย Have a great weekend all!ย

Congrats LittleBlue....now on to better and brighter.
I survived the crash and burn deadline this week so on to things like sheets, order from chaos, and other minor items.
I may do a trip to see the mountain lupines on Sunday if all goes well. Just gorgeous right now from others posting. - Claire

Got back from our mini-vacation and hobbled together a bunch of toning DVDS to try to catch up. Here is a picture of DH and me, our faces are kind of dark; but you can see we have some nice water options to enjoy here too.

hi all and welcome Annie! Been off the board all week. DH is on vacay so we're getting a lot of things done around the house and spending time together. He's had supper ready when I got home so we'd eat then walk for a while - nice!
Working crazy long hours at job getting ready for a trip to UT with mom to see bro & his fam.
Just got caught up here. You guys are making me want to go to a baseball game!
Ruth/Wonderland, you look great and love the garden party idea.
Cheryl, congrats on the all-clear, that is not how you want to make your heart pound.
Patoo, NC is beautiful & on my short list of places to live. Mountains for me, beaches for DH.
Mary, we have a family of bunnies living in our yard - so cute! - they make me smile.
littleblueflowers, congrats on last chemo - onward and upward!
Jazzy, Cuba - jealous! :-) I wonder if Wyndham has a timeshare there.
Shall we start dreaming about next year? https://www.clubwyndham.com/cw/resorts.page
This is getting long so congrats to everyone on accomplishments, waving back LB! โฅ

Beautiful morning here. I walked for an hour & did a 45 minutes Denise Austin DVD called Shrink Your Fat Zones, which I definitely need after all the vacationing! I have a whole notebook page of things that I HAVE to get done, so don't even dare to click on your link, badger!

I mowed my lawn 42 minutes, did some pruning on our overgrown hedge, and walked the dog for 25. I'm so glad I got that in because we are getting our daily rain storm again.
Pretty lake, Ruth. Blue water is beautiful whether its landlocked or coastal!
Ginger, Happy Anniversary! It sounds like you had a good day.
And littleblue, a big congrats on finishing chemo. The worst is over. Onward and Upward!
Mommyof2, it was hot and humid here yesterday so we went for a smoothie instead of dinner!. I discovered the fruit smoothies with tapioca pearls at our local vietnamese and thai restaurants. Just what I needed, another sweet addiction! I should take your lead though, and walk to go get one..

I got in a run today. Very slow but I think I made it about 2 miles which is my longest since April. My hip is sore again but I am making progress. It felt so good to get moving again!

Congratulations Littleblue. Happy Anniversary Ginger. Good to see you Meljo.
Have been doing nothing but dancing, Body Jam on Thursday night and Zumba yesterday and today. Had one of those dreadful no sleep nights last night and so today I've been napping on and off and hopefully will sleep tonight.

First, I have to say this board has been really motivational. I really love seeing all the different types of exercise everyone is doing. Today I walked with my hubby and my two dogs on the walking trail. The walk is about 2 miles with many rabbits, birds, and lizards. We always walk the trail together on the weekends. My daughter and I hung out the rest of the day. Tonight we went to a birthday for a 15 year old cousin.

Well done Little Blue! Meljo, what a super running group and Ruth WW and with hubby in the surf; this past first year of retirement has truly suited you. Love to reading what all of you actively have been up to.
Yesterday was our Pink Ribbon Pilates Wellbeing Day fundraiser (ยฃ50 for 30 women come a enjoy) and it was absolutely fabulous! We hold it in the grounds of the most beautiful gardens that has a purpose built, modern, cube shaped building with wood flooring for the classes - yoga, pilates, tai chi (they went out by the pond rather than indoors), fat loss intelligence, singing for health and deep meditation sound bath. There are two marquees set up one for ongoing lectures - digital health screening, colour me beautiful, energy medicine, a tour of the gardens and a body language expert. The other marquee had massage, reflexology, indian head massage and reiki that offered everyone the opportunity to book one or two treatments per person. Everyone donates their time to help for free - we are lucky and PRP partner Jen, is so clever at making it all work smoothly.
alt="Image result for tram Hatch">The day was a sunny, clear blue summer sky and the vegetarian lunch that is included, is what I'm in charge of with an amazing PRP member and fantastic cook named Sue. The vast array of different salads, quiches, frittatas, fresh fruit (including on-site grown -sweet raspberries and a large punnet of cherries donated by the local farm shop) 8 different cakes and tarts, including a delicious glutten-free lemon drizzle cake. The buffet really had a scrumptious wow factor- that had something for everyone to tuck into.
My friend Mathea from Hawaii was there and at 86 years young (in great shape and walks 50 miles a week!). A super day that we all greatly enjoyed and true success for Pink Ribbon Pilates.

Hi all - any of you ladies out there train for a marathon while going through all this? I got into NYC marathon for 2015 before I was diagnosed. Since then, I have had 2 surgeries (still can't run) and my doctors keep telling me not to give up on my dream. I start chemo in August. I am starting to doubt that it is possible. I walk daily but can't resume running till Aug. 1. Just curious if there are any distance runners out there?

Claire, congrats on the 9 out of 9!! Littleblue, congrats on being done with chemo. Cheryl, great news of the whew-all-clear. Lilacblue, amazing event you guys planned. Suzanne, maybe you'll find more responses on the running thread?
Broke my pedometer record on this hike (about 28,000 steps) to Segnes Pass (about 2,600m above sea level).
Then broke it again (about 29,000 steps) two days later on another trail where DH missed a junction. I counted 36 different kinds of alpine flowers just by sight, so was not looking at trail signs.

I didn't even know there was a running thread! Thank you! I will check it out.

What a great event, Lilac. I can just see from your pictures and description how lovely it must have been. I wish you were here so I could go!
Heidi what a beautiful view. Suzanne good luck with your marathon quest.
My hubby and I walked one of the nature trails today. 40 minute walk. I see lots of black eyed susans blooming and wild bee balm. It smelled good. It's quite muggy but here too, but at least there was a nice breeze.

suzanne50-there are lots of great runners here who may have thoughts on your question. Wishing you lots of luck!

Did the Naches Peak Loop hike as planned. Few lupines, but glorious in all other respects. Hot, so I took my time and enjoyed the scenery. Feeling the muscles...not the same ones as cycling! - Claire

View looking down on a tarn...first rest stop.

And of course, Mount Rainier.
