Those pictures are so cute! And I passed that information along in an email.... about the Chickens! I thought maybe as they got older, they quit laying...I was worried, because I didn't know what they would do with them, if they stopped laying altogether...

Kiwi, Thank you. Hi. I had a pet Rhode Island Red chicken when I was a kid. I think she lived to around 12 or 13 years. And then there was soup. Yes, she nourished us during and after her life. Thankful.

Yes, they do quit laying eventually. Then we make soup.
