Simplicity- we did? I would remember your lovely face. Ok, who is stealing my identity? Why would anyone want to be me??
0 -

Loverly? Is the dog that bad you went to the Steam Room thread? Or did Simplicity mean Sas?

Does anybody have Goats contact info? Getting worried.

Happy birthday, you almost Halloween babies! Mmmm, cake. I have dark chocolate covered cranberries, not quite the same thing. They are sort of healthy, though, right?
Sas, my surgery went pretty well, except for that micromet they found later. The plan at this point is to get the Oncotype score back, and see if chemotherapy is the next step. Either way, the rest of my lymph nodes are coming out. I found BCO when I was doing research into treatment, before I had my surgery. Don't know what I'd do without you guys already, I spent a lot of time hanging out here after my surgery, even before I signed up.
What are those purple lighted things in that picture you posted earlier? They are really pretty, but I can't tell if they are some kind of luminaria?

Ummmmm. Dark Choco is good for you, kills the taste of those good-for-you cranberries. WinWin

Oh Ms. Wren, I ate half of my share of the cake. I couldn't wait. But, I save the other half for you. Happy Birthday, you young thing!!

Yup, makes cranberries almost edible! Those crafty cranberry farmers will do anything to increase their market share.

Simplicity, Good lurking , you know what you are getting into
WE are all over the place. Everyone trys to keep me in line. I have a tendency to a bit of OCD AND OVERBEARING . When I get to anal retentive, I go work on the constipation thread. ...........I saw you mention elsewhere that you have three kiddo's. Zills whose recovering from surgery has two, one just had a tonsillectomy. Loverly has two, MammaRay has one. Chevy and I have grown kids and she has two grown grandkids. I love your hat
Where are you from? I was from Detroit Michigan and Akron, Ohio. Now in Cocoa Fl near space center. Spookie is Dunedin west Fl. Chevy's in Denver, smarty's in California with LOverly, They do lunch allot.WE have on gal missing in a flood zone DFW, she hasn't posted in three days. Mema- DALAS hasn't posted in two. Mags is in Oklahoma, they are running out of water.

No, I have never been to the Steam Room. I will suffocate everyone with my steam. Poor Mitzi has really bad anxiety. We came home from church yesterday to find the cage wires rearranged themselves.

Ms. Sas, YOU LET ME KNOW. MINE TAKES TURN GETTING LOUD. Oops, didn't mean to yell. I heard CoQ10 might help. Tempted to try.
Cubbie, dark chocolate is good for you if you don't over do it.
Hope Mema and Goats are ok. Mag had problem with the rain too??

Off to badminton to work away the stress of life. Tata for now

Cubbie, I think they are luminaries. They look like luminaries. So, I made then luminaries. They were for Loverly's Birthday. She's from Vietnam. I was trying to find things that would please her..................That was the same way I found BCO. I had never done a a discussion board before. Still here just yakking away. It does the heart, mind , and soul good. Perhaps not the legs. Did you find Warm & Fuzzies yet? Funny, pretty, kitties, dogs. I forget Kids?
When you say you hung out here. BCO or Insomnia? Glad you jumped in. Watch loverly she's apparently in a vampire mood or mode, forget whitch(pun)

I hung out on BCO in general. I'll have to check out Warm & Fuzzies as well.
They do look like luminaries, just hard to tell with no point of reference for size. They sure are beautiful.
Going to the Y to take a walk around the track. Maybe I'll sleep better tonight with some exercise, it usually works that way. Catch you guys in an hour or two.

Loverly, Poor Mitzi, maybe she needs a kitten? I could loan you Dini. He was so anxious when he came. He groomed Shatzi for hours. She has a beard and a tuft on top of her head. She look like a Yeti. It calmed him down. They are very close now. His anxiety is gone now. Shows up itty bit once in awhile. Then I just massage him. He's so sweet. He wags his tail all the time. When he first came I was afraid of him.

badminton break. Pic of Schatzi please. Still trying to figure out what that beautiful light structure is. No cats for Mitzi because of her high prey instinct. Hubby is getting frustrated with Mitzi sigh. We woke up this morning with trash all over the kitchen. Not her fault. Forgot to ask the kids to put away the trash can

Glug, glug....still here! Water is settling but we are thinking about more rain again. Goats is about an hour west of me and if I knew where I'd be circling her trying to figure out why she isn't posting! Guess that's a good reason to not let us know where some of us live!
Sass, DH works from home and travels. It's a win win thing until he starts getting on my nerves or watching the $$$$. I'm a woman that used to have power so I just want him to get the heck outta my way and deposit when needed. Really, he's a good guy, I can just get moody if I don't get my down time or alone time. Still writing a lot which is good. Eye surgery is Wednesday, just one eye, then wait 4 weeks for the other. Geez, I'll be stumbling everywhere. Might as well drink more.
Happy Birthday to you girls. Such clever cakes! Something special hidden in them? Maybe not but if you are new here you will find out there usually is! BBL

Loverly, Thanks for saving me half the cake. I would probably have been unable to help myself and would have finished it.
Mema, Glad you haven't washed away and I hope the same for lil goats. Rain is something when it just keeps coming and coming.
Welcome Simplicity. You'll like the fuzzy animal thread also.

No rain here, just a lot of pain. I'm seeing the neurologist tomorrow and thank dog DH can drive me! It's all the way on the other side of the metro, about 40 minutes drive. I went and had a mani/pedi today, dog forbid I should show the new doc my unkempt feet! Then cancer support group, and DH had to work, so I waited around for cousin to drive me home, and she had a meeting, so I'm just now home to find that while DH was working in his office, one of the dogs was ripping into a bag of treats after getting up on my bedside table, knocking everything off to get to the bag on my window sill behind it.
I think I found a pic of Mitzy.

HahaOh my gosh! That little gremlin turns back to the sweet angel. Notice the brown torn crate mat I just bought her 2 days ago. SIGH. Just got back from badminton and found the pillow/mat destroyed...that's the second one. It had not been more than an hour and a half. How can I get mad at her? Even if I want to, i can't.

Ok going to take her for a walk

Aw, Mitzi, you naughty dog. Maybe she needs something more indestructible to keep her occupied, like a Kong toy?

loveroflife--I have no experience with a BM. The dog I had sounds similar but she was 1/2 border and 1/2 lab. Smartest damn dog ever! And I think that could be part of Mitzi's issues. She is bored. These types of dogs (who are breed to have jobs), they need to get that energy out somehow. My girl's name was Lacey. I took her to a pet store to buy food and some toys...some stupid parent wasn't watching her children and they just jump on her and took her down to the floor. She was so scared, she peed in the floor. I know she really wanted to show her teeth but she didn't. From then on she always barked and growled at kids. Never let her near them until I had my own and she was perfectly fine with them. She also did not get along with other dogs. She was the alpha dog. Getting of track...when I had her in my room while I was at class, she was fine. When I moved her into an apartments with 3 other guys...she got mad. She chew through their video game controller, ate a battery from a TV r remote. Tore the floorings up I need the kitchen. I did have to buy a crate for when I had to leave for work and I would come back home for lunch to play with her. I think some dogs really will show you her thoughts through her actions. We just have to be present to see it. Just my two cents...if it stresses her out, don't do it. Build more trust between you two before trying anything scarey. Let us know the progress beautiful dog!
Sas--I had two Brittany's as a child and then dad switched to German short hairs. Wonder what he will get next as he is too old to hunt for any length of time.

A friend adopted a dog that came from a hoarding situation. Poor Bailey had terrible separation anxiety. She had to be put on medication. It took a long while but she eventually calmed down. DH and I would dog sit her when my friend travelled. She was a lovely dog.
