Smaarty the buttons and broken curtain hooks pic ThumbsUp Saved in inspiration folder for DD! Her school take part in a reused/recycled christmas competition every year, super inspiration there for next year.

She made a Christmas tree with angels from pencil sharpenings this year.

Onco - I thought those molecule models were broken jacks too!

Coinccidently I was at a Christmas dinner on Monday night and got a set of jacks in a Christmas cracker. Two people sitting either side of me had no idea what they were.

Tom the foster fail kitty says Meowy Catmas!

    image

Note - his eye doesn't bother him. He was injured just after birth and through a lot of hard work from our vet and us, we saved the eye. It looks manky but doesn't slow him down in the least! It's not painful, just looks funny. And he is the sweetest boy. :)

imageCute, but then I read this...are they for real...LoopyPutting novelty items and fancy dress clothing on pets can restrict their ability to express their normal behavior, which can be in breach of the Animal Welfare Act which states owners must offer a duty of care. Dr Samantha Gaines, a pet behavior and welfare specialist at the RSPCA, said fancy dress costumes or even the odd novelty item can leave animals feeling scared or confused, and stop them from expressing themselves.

So no coats for dogs walking in the cold or rain? As long as they don't wear it long, I'm not going to worry. It's hard to keep anything on a cat long enough to get a photo. They don't look scared or confused, they look pissed.

Tom was beyond mellow. He wears a harness and leash when he goes out (we're just starting to let him and his sisters out since they're youngsters). And this fits just like his harness, although it's a bit bigger. :) I got a pic, took it off him, sat down ,and he was on my lap per normal. I would never try to put it on Frida, our skittish scardy cat. Or on Lucypurr, our grumpy cat.

DD has a chorkie (chihuahua/yorkie mix) named Sophie. Whenever DD puts anything on Sophie the dog hangs her head and looks up with her eyes in such a way that it makes her look like she's embarrassed to be in clothes.
