Sassy- that is interesting about people going to visit others in the middle of the night by candlelight. The spiritualist types say 3 a.m. (sometimes known as the "witching hour") is a time when our soul talks to us the most and share's it's innate wisdom. I have often woken up around 3 a.m., although the past few nights, it has been more like midnight and then 3.....

I used to have a neighbor whom woke up regularly at 3 a.m. back east and this was before e-mail and social media, and used to tell me to put my kitchen light on if I was up and she would come over. I think one time she did come over and we had a good old fashioned middle of the night chat. I lived in an old New England type farmhouse back then built in the early 1700's (and haunted beyond anything you would believe). I wonder if the early inhabitants there did that sort of thing?

Queenie, hahahahaha. You know I am jealous because I can't wear my hair that short. Tried it once. Never again. I looked goofy.

  • Loverly. Now that's a happy dance !! Sweet !!!

Jazzy. I normally wake around 3am every day. Usually can go back to sleep but not always. I generally think I am awake to pray for someone at just that moment. But then most of the people I know aren't awake to need prayer that time of day.

Patty- I like that! Next time I wake up, I am going to say some prayers for people. I have a huge list, including all of you!

Patty don't worry! I've described myself as "pissed-off cockatiel" before. I can get my hair to behave if I style it when it's dripping wet (and I mean dripping wet) As I told Susan3, I've always assumed good intentions on forums like this.

I don't know what it is about the three-four o'clock time but that's always when I've woken up with insomnia/nightmares/terrified sweats or digestive system ejecting its contents at both ends simulteneously.

Susan, everybody looks great. Congrats on the location. Will you get to be there when the baby comes? I didn't with Evie. I asked and DGD said only her mom and hubby. I did find out that others had come by but they were shooed out when she got close. Since she came at 5:30 am, I didn't miss too much. The last one I was with was my niece and he's 2 already!

    Happy Dance for those celebrating.

Hope you feel better for those under the weather.

Sas - I tried, I really tried to resist the urge to call the breeder. I made it 2 weeks, but today I just couldn't stand it any longer, and I called her. So now we wait. While I've had dogs my whole life, I've been without any for nearly 6 years and have gotten out of the whole scheduled day routine. But now I'll have to get back into the swing of things. Yikes! I'm gonna be responsible for another living being.

The dizziness seems to have lessened, except when I turn quickly or move my head too quick. Weird. Next Tuesday I'm going for a CT guided cortisone injection into my right hip, since the Ortho won't operate.

Are you feeling any better with your flu?

Loverly - It's nice that your daughter's youth group makes the effort to recognize the individual birthday's. I've always liked them (birthdays), but I know some people would rather just forget about it. Personally I think all people like to be recognized on their birthday. I used to do cupcakes for the people in my bible study when their birthdays came around and they all enjoyed it. Just wish I could still do it. Also, that pic of the little animal with the huge ears is priceless, especially with your caption of "I'm all ears"

    Cute Happy Dance video.

    How's Mitzy, by the way?

Susan - Great pics of you and Queenie. So glad your wish to have your kids close by came true. YEAH!

Patty - How's it going? Do you have an infection? Is your son feeling any better? Also, if someone comes to your mind at any time of the day, praying for them is always good, because you never know what is or will be going on with them at any give moment.

It was gorgeous here today. 65 degrees, dry and sunny. One more day, then back to the gray wet stuff. YUCK!

smaarty, about being there for delivery...we will see. They will still be in Michigan when the baby comes. May 11. They have to be in Wisconsin 2 nd week of June. I can be in Michigan by the 9 th. not before cause of chemo. Can't be near her or babies for 48 hours. But I make it 3 days, and around no one. I even sleep in a different area for 3 days . I took a little more than 2 week off. It would actually be better if the baby came a few days early, then I can spend the whole time with baby. Got to be back for chemo , so I can't extend my stay. But no complaints here, they will be so close to us :

JWoo, Dm teardrop is one of my favs too. It is so timeless. I'm supposed to send you that other piece, I'll send this too. I have faith I will find more. I've been procrastinating on sending the urn. So this will get me going. Nice, a happy home, to be well loved.

Junie, so exciting LOL you will become a mom when Susan becomes a grandmother or close anyway :) They all just crawl right into our hearts. Have faith that the dizziness improves. My head was roller coastering all over the place, then it slowed down to teacups. Now barely a twirl. Faith, this is just one more thing to get over.

Susan May 11th on the calendar. Remember being prego and we all got to our due dates. The phone calls. This is wonderful the kids get to go through the first two months with a new baby, a move, a new residency, and if it's anything like my new EM residents ACLS the first week of residency. I think you need to move in for a month maybe 6 weeks. What do you think?

Serious though, if that was a for real human eating we would have heard about it. They become legend. People throw stuff at alligators to create pics like that.

  • jazzy. Funny croc pic I laughed out loud, for real

Susan. Great pic. You are so beautiful. Never would have guessed you take chemo looking that great. Love the baby bump.

It's been warm here and now a cold front today and tomorrow. High in the low 50's. Brr. Not spring break weather.

    Hootie hoo

Susan, Claire is truly radiant. Cute couple.

JunieB, waiting is hard. I'm a compulsive person. It takes a lot of discipline to be patient. I'm still being disciplined. Haha. Good to hear your dizziness has improved. Once in awhile I do get dizzy if I turn my head too fast, usually to the left or right. I might have pepples in my head. Hopefully, they don't grow into rocks Loopy

Mitzy's skin is still dry, but not as bad as before, possibly because it's warmer now and the heater is not constantly on. I think the Manuka honey is working. I have a peace of mind putting it on her because I don't have to worry about her licking it. Have not given her a bath for three weeks-the longest since we had her. I'm glad I haven't been able to smell because of my congestion. Ha! She has been scratching herself the last few days, so she is getting a bath tomorrow. We have a wedding to go today.

    Jazzy, have fun.

Feline, Happy Easter! You are seven hours ahead of us right?
