You are most welcome CB! Glad I found your marbles.

Nice video. He has beautiful eyes. Hope he doesn't have problems with alcohol. It sounds like he was singing about it. Sad if that's the case. Too young (not that's it's ok if you are old).

Nicci, sorry I didn't see your post. Welcome!

Ms. Sas, I went back and looked at the the plate with the wheat or olive pattern. Well, you know I am OCD. Certain things just bug us until we figure/straighten them out. Do you wear glasses? Is that your reflection in the center of the plate? Doesn't look like you? Anyway, I still think it's wheat. That just reminds me... ShepK, you are not plaque with OCD, are you?

    JunieB, wakey wakey....are you okay?

Susan, how was the baby shower?

Ms. Smarty, thank you for lunch. That was fun. Wish I didn't have to rush home because of Mitzy. I am happy to report that the sofas and her bed were intact. No pee or poop in the house and nothing was chewed or scratched...praise the Lord! Pretty good for first time being free to roam around the house while we are all away. Mitzy was happy and did her aaaouuuu when I got home. She followed me around with her aaaaoooouuu while I inspected the house as if to tell me she has been good. This morning we left her outside the crate again (2& 1/2 hours) while we were at church and she was ok. I hope she will continue this pattern because we won't be home this Thursday for eight hours! It will be her first time home alone that long since we had her. I would hate to leave her in the crate for eight long hours. We will find out. Hubby might divorce me if she panic and the house is turned upside down Shocked

Susan- so exciting the baby is almost here! Great shower pics. Clare looks really beautiful. Will you be able to go out and see her when the little one arrives?

Loveroflife- it was a sunny day until I left mid afternoon to go to Cost Plus World Market (re-discovering that place and found some goodies today for my patio facelift!) While was I was out this afternoon, the clouds starting moving in and it got COLD! Rain is back this evening, just sprinkling right now, The weather guy just popped on and said this is the beginning of a rainy spell that will take us through Tuesday. All I can say to that is YAY!

I will share my patio progress once I have a few more things in place.

    Welcome CB and Nicci

Loverly great family super hero picture. Reno is humming along, it will be nice to have our house back . I would love to get some flowers for the garden, but it is still too cold . My daughters wedding dress is going to cost $200-300 if she wants it hemmed. Ouch.

CB I enjoyed Andy Black's music, I showed the video to my husband who is a music lover. He listens to a lot of old rock tunes, new music to add to his collection is a good thing. I enjoy all types of music, Diana Krall is one of my favourites.

Jazzy I envy you out garden and patio shopping. We used part of our deck and made a 3 season sunroom or more like a 7 month sunroom. I spend all my time in there in summer. I did plant a few seeds in my garden and have some seedlings growing in the sunroom, as well as some bulbs in pots. I have kitchen stuff piled everywhere , so no sitting in there yet.

Sassy I have not poked my neck once in the last couple of days . I laughed when I read your post, because you were right. My dog name is Bailey , not Reno lol. He peed on our newly tiled floor, that hadn't been grouted. My husband was worried about urine odor getting in the cracks.

Susan loved your cute baby shower ideas, bright and cheerful. You daughter and son in law look very happy. Who would of thought that they make baby scrubs.

Shep thank you for the pet odor info, I plan on picking some up tomorrow. Now for those hot sexy pictures you postedimage

    NicciJ,

I posted the video above the baby shower pics in this thread. You're cool. If it wasn't for that pretty mouth of his, I wouldn't recognize him without his makeup.

    I hope you like it.

Susan, – Such happy pictures! There are so many pretty decorations everywhere. Love the jellybean flower arraignments! Richard Scarry's Good Night Little Bear brings back many warm memories; I won't give away the ending in case you haven't read it yet, but there is much cuteness involved :-)

Loverly, - Those super hero costumes are great! Socks with capes…too cool. Looks like a fun party! Alterations are sooo expensive. Not fair for us little people. It's not our fault we are not giantesses. Are you asking me if I'm OCD? Nah, not me! I'm sure everyone else here is still stressing over that man stomping all over the bed with his shoes on. Once I get the clothes hanging in my closet back in color coded order and sorted by sleeve length and style I'll feel better. Gotta figure out Sas's flowery vine pattern first……forget-me-nots, jasamine? Agree the leaves look like olive branches…….

Mags, – Hope you get good news about your scans. My MO tells me he'll only call right away if something is "bad". I keep telling him he can call me right away for "good" stuff too. Hmmm….maybe the longer the wait, the better you are?

Ooops….Lookie is doing the full on reno (not in Reno) and Mags is turning her patio into a new room. That guy on the bed with his shoes on got me addled!

Jazzy, – I am terrible for remembering to water and care for my patio plants. The groundskeeper aka husband keeps destroying the ones I plant in the yard. I shall live vicariously through your pics when your flowers are done.

ShepK, you are truly a night owl. What are you still doing up at 3:00am your time? Pain? Marti? Or husband snoring? It's 12:30 am here and I can't sleep because stomach is taking its time to digest and also DH is not here. Hard to sleep when he is not around. He arrived safely in Nepal and will travel again tomorrow from Kathmandu (capital city) to eastern Nepal, which is more rural. Internet is sketchy there. That's when I hold my breath until I hear from him. Better try to sleep. Need to help the kids get ready for school early tomorrow .

Sas, – I have read the topic box and found some really useful info. I've been taking 3 mg of melatonin for a month or so; still figuring the best time of night to take it. It does help. Severe pain, spasms, stress and a difficult spouse who also has bouts of insomnia all add to my sleep issues.

On the plus side, Marti's new meds are working wonders for her…..much calmer and more mobile. No more pacing and woof sessions at night. Yay!

I do need to be on a day schedule this week. I have a "big" appointment with a new spinal neurologist Wednesday. He's supposed to be "the guy" who can find some solutions for my mucked up spine. Biggest obstacle to proper treatment is a broken tool in one of my vertebra from a procedure I had last year. No more MRIs for me again, ever. But that's a story for later……bedtime now

    BUT....

WHY is there not a Golden Dildo Award for each hospital? I have personally encountered several very worthy recipients. How unfair!

Deleted above for accidental double post

Loverly - Your tummy is troubling you again? I'm sorry :( I hope you hear from your husband soon and that his travels go well. You should let Mitzy snuggy with you in bed 'til he comes home. I bet she'd be like a big velvet teddy bear.

My hubby snores so I'm off to snuggy with the kitty in the guest room. She doesn't snore but she does get a little bitey. Still like her better :)

Marti won't sleep with anyone - which is okay because she is gassy sometimes......

    Good Night!

    Shepkitty,

Please share your MRI story or point me to it if it's in another forum thread. I'll share some porn if you do.

I use a lot of food porn to keep me going or I just don't eat. I'm trying to work up an idea for breakfast.

Aw Susan! I really don't know what to say to comfort you. Like you said, wish we lived close by so we can run over to give you a hug and sit there quietly with you until you are ready to pour your heart out.

    Going to Patty's thread.

    Shepkitty,

    What tool?

Doesn't Spinal MRI just inject you with the Kool-Aid (I call all the crap they give me "the Kool-Aid"), slide you into the machine for 20 minutes and slide you out? What broke? Where? Can you tell I'm having MRI Thoracic, spinal and head this week?

Beautiful family and friend. What a blessing to have friends from grade school. What happened to your striped shirt? Hah!

ShepK, yes, upper GI is joining lower GI to slow me down. I usually have lower GI problem and have been learning to live with it without meds. As long as I don't have cramps and have a toilet near by, I can still function. I thank God I still have somewhat strong sphingter muscles to hold back the flooding gate that fails occasionally. You have metals in your spine? You mean you are a bionic woman? Ouchie! Oh, OCD will not allow me to have Mitzy in my bed. She sheds too much!

Taking today off from work to stay home with the little brat. Gave my hours to a friend who was laid off two years ago and is now working on call. She needs the hours and I need the time off to train Mitzy to be alone outside her crate. Hopefully, she gets it by Thursday when I need to return to work.

    Good Morning Ladies,

Sorry I haven't been posting recently. I had a CT scan last Monday in Portland, long day. Still waiting for results. Massage on Wednesday, volunteered on Thursday & Thoracic Spine went out on Friday. Really scared me because ribs hurt and had nausea related to it. Called Palliative Care and was told if my pain meds don't help go to E.R. Yuck, don't want to go to E.R. Anyway with meds and rest it got better. Thanks to God! Otherwise have been real tired and couldn't work up the brain power to try and post anything coherent.

I don't remember if I've already said, but hip surgery scheduled for June 9th. Had hoped for some support from my narcissistic Mother, but she is going on vacation that week and is MORE concerned with how her plants will survive while she is on vacation, than the fact that I'm having major surgery. It is confusing to me how although I know full well how narcissistic she is, that I would even think for a moment she'd be able to act like a normal Mother. I really really need to get over this irrational hope.

    Anyway, enough about me!

Susan - So sorry your test results aren't good. Will keep you in prayer.

The pics of the baby shower were very uplifting. Cupcake stroller is a really cute idea, plus really liked the little watering can for the utensils. Did guests make all the bibs hanging up?

Loverly - So wish I had some helpful answers for your G.I. issues. Does Mitzi shed all the time or is it like others I've spoken to that this is the time for dogs to shed their winter undercoats?

Adorable pic of your girls in their costumes.

Lookforward - Pic is very serene to look at.

Sas - Hello, didn't want to overlook you. Now just a question. The pic you posted with the gray dots and yellow ball flashing all over, do you remember that if someone with seizures looks at that it could trigger one?

Sorry that Patty is in the hospital again.

Also, had a chance to have a nice long talk with my friend in Florida on Saturday (the one in Tampa). He was talking with me as he walked along a river (can't remember the name) and was telling me he's really come to love the area since moving there. Also told me about a festival called "Gasperilla" a pirate themed festival.

Jazzygirl - When does Spring usually start there in New Mexico? What are the Summer temps like?

And to everyone, I hope you have a great Monday.
