Ah, JD you are so amusing. Don't you remember — you and your ilk fired them all. In my book they are doing a helll of a lot more right now than you are…

When humility enters our souls, we are at last able to perceive that we do not live alone in the world but with millions of brothers and sisters, and that hidden in the heart of each is the same animating spirit.

It's what they always do to us. Find a way to make their bad (highly flawed and wrong) decisions seem like things the Democrats caused and did — and conversely, they often appropriate the decent things we do as a part of their attributes.

While realizing ignorance is really BLISS in so many cases, I do have to say I'm happier only having suspicions of who around me are Reps. In some ways I consider myself fortunate that people in my town think of it as an extraordinary mistake and highly impolite to discuss political persuasions much at all and especially in possibly mixed company. Still I wholly agree with this.

The fact that (even with it being so close) that so many of the people who knew better or certainly had all the capacity to do so, went ahead and voted for the wasted, lost, demented person they did remains very upsetting. Likely more so because had a few more Democrats chosen to come out and vote things might have been different.

It's been twice now and it seems like the WH was 'bought' for Trump — first Putin and then Musk with likely a big push from Putin. We have to remember — no real recount or anything. Sigh !!! I do think though maybe this is what it takes for EVERYONE to understand a lot better what it means (seems Trump is going to convince a WHOLE lot of Reps. this time) to elect someone who is as dirty and indecent as Trump.

I do wish Pres. Biden had done a bit more to offer some protections put in place so Trump could not be as destructive. In the end, we need to FIX even allowing a person like Trump to run at all. We now know there are many who would vote for a person of his character out of spite and avarice.

I looked at this picture and didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Even now sitting here thinking — if the rest of the world sees what I do — no wonder there is such a sense of disbelief and far and away the WRONG kind of awe going on.

I don't know why he feels the need to wear a bronzer because it makes him look like a raccoon anyhow. You can't apply it around the eyes so that area is always his true skin shade as is the area behind his ears. He needs a better and more honest barber to tell him the combover with its tons of hairspray don't work on windy days. The bronzer color is far too orange and the tiny hands he keeps waving around are also pale in comparison. I am sure it rubs off on clothing items and maybe that is why Melania shrugs off close contact.

Seems he is focused on deporting anyone who speaks with an accent. I suggest he begin at home since two of his wives have met that criteria. The first doesn't have to worry because she is safely buried in his golf course but the second one is still around. True her command of English has improved but she seldom speaks and definitely has a foreign accent.

Knowing how cheap he is I am wondering if his GD will ever see that Tesla? Plus I can't believe he actually purchased it. So will this be another freebie from his Rasputin (Musk) and another bribe for his to be the president elect.

JD Vance may have had a good education but he lacks manners and has managed to prove this to world leaders. He has also been called out for his book content which seems to have been manipulated to reflect untruths to make it a best seller. He hides his pudgy, baby face with an ugly beard and needs to lay off the eye makeup. His wife while being born here still has parents who weren't so I would hope they have all their papers in order. Not someone I want to be president ever.

I do not want the US to become insular as we seem to be heading. Russia, China, and North Korea have been known for this stance and they don't even like each other. We need allies and it seems we are shedding them like fleas. I am hoping that these countries realize that not all Americans feel this way.

I'm ambivalent about what I put in about the shut down. I've read all day that it was oh so wrong. So now I'm back to wondering. It does though sound like it could be a gift to Trump. A few like he and Mush I think were saying they hoped the Democrats would shut it down. Anyway, in the end I do think Schumer knows what he is about so I'm going to trust that he did the right thing in allowing the CR to go forward.

I read that Trump has 7 more agencies on the chopping block, but in the end I'm not so sure he is being ALL that successful. I think most of what has been done is ending up on appeal. Some of that will get through but not in the massive amts. that were wanted. So we will have to see how it goes.

On the one hand, I'm surprised that we haven't had more objections, but if he keeps up the horrid pace he has been I think it like much else may come sooner than we think.
