My crazy cat, Midnight Louie, fell in the pool the other night. He use to swim in it when he was a kitten, but hasn't for years.

His head was dry, so he didn't go under

Seems like there is a kitty convention in my bedroom tonight. Very busy sleeping.

Which slice of the bed do you get? My smallest cat sleeps with me and you'd think he was a Great Dane, he is such a bed hog. There are times I wake up to find him wrapped around the top of my head. Has to be touching me.

The black one Zorro, also the biggest 20+ pounds, likes to sleep with me. His spot is my spot.

Sounds about right. If it is not a book it is me at the sewing machine.

If you have an empty box, this is where you will find Misty.

Misty on Bay window sill 2.jpg

Misty thinks this window sill is hers as well and sometimes pushes off a plant to make room. She broke a large planter the other day. It was full of a succulent and I had plans to repot them, but she speeded up the process. It used to sit where she is now. Bad kitty.

@betrayal lol Misty know what she wants. The nerve putting a plant on her seat. Beautiful pic, love the light and the look on her face. ❤️

I think she is telling you she needs an outdoor cat house to sun herself.😹😻

Brutersmom, she was an abandoned rescue from the streets of Naples, Fl and I can tell you she avoids the doorways like a plague. She will sit near the screen door in the family room when the weather is warmer but her preferred squat spot is what used to be a garden window in the powder room. There is one lone jade plant left there because she pushed the shelf over and destroyed several pots. So it is now a place for her towel, the jade plant and her napping place.

Cats are so different. I have 4 strays. One loves to go outside with us but never wanders more then a couple of feet from the house. He climbed in my car after being dumped. The other three were born in the wild and are like your Misty. They always stay several feet back from an open door. They will sit in an open window with a screen.

So today I get 2 new boxes from Amazon and Misty was in her glory. She loves boxes and will sometimes sleep behind the powder room door on a scratch box. Here she is ready to be shipped out.

This is Leo. He's 13 years old, weighs about 10 lb. and was a rescue 9 years ago. He's been repeatedly abandoned so he is spooky around strangers and hides well. He's keeping me company as I recover from my left TKR.
