Information in the modern age is such as double edged sword. The Internet has provided us a means to see and hear some incredible things and to find amazing primary sources for both the historical and the modern. But it is also a vast unregulated stew of falsehoods and artificial manipulation. Discerning between the two seems to be growing more difficult and, frankly, many are too lazy to even try and seem to have no trouble digesting the lies and ignoring the growing dangers.
I like your optimism and wish I shared it. The Reps no longer have any interest in upholding the Constitution and maintaining our Democracy. I believe that they will try to retain power by any means necessary (Wasn’t that an old SDS or Black Panther slogan?) There are many evil interests in that stew and they probably won’t let silly elections stop them. This goes back much further than trump. They just needed him to uncork the bottle.

It is completely disheartening. I feel the way decent people must have felt as the Nazis took control of Germany. I'm going to keep contacting my representatives in D.C. & if enough another people do, and keep protesting, & maybe if enough of the MAGA people find that their own lives are being affected negatively, some of them will start to howl too……I don't know, it could go either way.

I do think of this as pretty much how this period in time will turn out. It is sometimes hard to tell who is using whom here, but no matter of that, Trump will indeed be the biggest loser of all — in part because of his stupidity and mental issues of which dementia is the one looming large now.

Any criticism of Israel is deemed antisemitic; ask yourself if your favorite politicians are standing up against this or are Israel’s b****.

Ask yourself if the American politician who you voted for is representing your interests. How do you feel that Israel owns the U.S. government lock, stock and barrel?

They’re coming for your Constitutionally protected rights and if you don’t stand up now - there won’t be any rights to fight for later. This is akin to how you boil a frog.

And we are being slow cooked as we speak.
