Lymphedema self massage

Hi ladies! I wanted to share a link to a self lymphodema massage treatment that has helped me and my neighbor who also had breast cancer. Please ok it with your doctors before trying it, because our situations are all unique. I had a lumpectomy with node removal Mar 2021.

I was able to see a lymphodema therapist soon after finishing treatments and had mild swelling and she used her magic wand to decrease the swelling. I found this self massage online and I have been using it for a couple of years whenever I feel tender in the breast or armpit or notice my scar doesn't show as much (meaning there's swelling). It's simple and doesn't hurt; you are supposed to use very minimal and gentle pressure.

Hope this helps someone!

Thanks @flagmama I'll read it asap.

I haven't had surgery (too late) and the lymphedema (LE?) began in rt arm 1 month ago, the now enormous tumor is in my rt breast. Blocking the drainage.

Now, both feet look like balloons, and my left breast suddenly swelled to a shape from 30 years ago. I'm trying to see the humor and I laugh, but I also started getting a little worried.

I have to share this : I Googled my symptoms and AI sent lymphedema info, good, but together with a lot of links to 'end of life signals', 'symptoms you're about to die', 'what happens 3 days before you die', etc., and like that. After being a little shocked, I think I laughed harder than at my breast (I hope it doesn't continue to swell). This is another example of how 'AI' isn't 'I' because no intelligent person would add all of those links.

Has anyone else experienced LE w/o surgery?

I just read it and the disclaimer states it only for post-treatment patients. Thoughts?
