How much would he have to pay you to attend his parade?

Every dime he had would not be enough. He has nothing I want, including his money.

My DF, DFIL, and DB did not fight in WWII and Vietnam so this asswipe could throw himself a parade on the Army's 250th anniversary. My DF was Army, DFIL Army Aircorp, and DB Navy Seabee so I was sorry I wasn't able to watch a parade to honor their contribution and service.

Guess the ads on Craig's list didn't entice anyone with the cryprocurrency offers. They don't understand that most people want cold, hard cash they can spend to support themselves, not something that doesn't translate to purchase power. Plus he has so dissed the poor, why would they want to celebrate his birthday? The money they could have used to support and feed their families was spent to feed his ego. F**k him.

Happy Flag day for the true patriots who weren't in attendance. Glad to see the huge crowds out for No King rallies.

We had lots & lots of flags at our march. It is OUR flag, not the flag of people who want a king!

The happiest people I know are people who don’t even think about being happy. They just think about being good neighbors, good people. And then happiness sort of sneaks in the back window while they’re busy doing good.

As to the above, I can't feign surprise. And with that the word this morning so far that I've read in descriptive verbiage about the parade is BORING. So I guess I'd expect the doofus to fall asleep. I do in fact think it likely was very boring.

From the sounds of it and the many pictures (the one you put in Ruth was quite stunning) most people — other than those paid or the super-duper die-hards were simply not interested. As you stated aptly — why would they be. They have troubles to care for, families to feed while doofus blows through un-told sums to CELEBRATE himself. He has made a total mess of this country and will continue to do so because he is not only insane but stupid. Not a great combo to say the least.

OTOH, No Kings was per the sound, a highly rousing success. It was estimated 5 million were out — give or take. Problems in a couple of spots, but mainly great peaceful protests. Once again the doofus was a flop, a great failure — likely boring even himself. Well, I think he had ample warning had he cared to listen. Of course, while he never does, likely he was thinking there were more people who would get excited about showing him deference on his SPECIAL day. He seems not to totally get that their is so much alienation this time around and that not only is it here, it is across the world and made worse because he is dissing all the people who elected him.

I presume to a degree, he has and is counting on the help and co-operation of all those he has installed to do his dirty work for him and for all those who are thumbing their noses right along with him at laws and the Constitution.

I am wondering this a.m. what he truly thinks of the great birthday bash. I can't believe it came near to satisfying his need to be glorified. Truly was a complete waste that the American taxpayer gets to pay for. As mentioned while I did not listen to the words SAID, I did note the monotone voice as he all the while sounded like he was totally bored himself at the time. I also think about all those service people (having to dress in period clothing and marching for almost no one.

Lastly — wondering, how long before this one is finally finished off. How much longer can he media and others support a demented clown — who bores himself.

A little view here. There are tons of pictures everywhere. I read in heavily, heavily conservative Kingwood, Texas 700 people came out. Astounded everyone. Only 90 people signed up so they hoped I think for at least 50 of those — instead, 700. Just amazing.

BREAKING: Trump "humiliated" as his pathetic birthday parade draws barely 20,000 people, as an estimated 10 MILLION Americans attended anti-Trump "No Kings" protests across America.

Some would probably say 20,000 is being generous. I can't say, but I will say that 5 or 10 million certainly tops the Loon figure whatever it really is. It was destined to fail for a number of reasons none the least which was Alex Padilla and the Minneapolis murders. A deranged regime with a wanna-be king trying to assign kudo's to himself —- trashy, trashy, trashy.

We have seen lots of pictures of the multitudes of people who came out for No Kings Day, but I wanted to focus on what was said across from the picture:

The No Kings marches erupted across the country today as a massive show of resistance to what organizers call the Trump administration’s authoritarian drift and billionaire-first politics. Protesters gathered in nearly two thousand cities and towns, with the largest crowd expected in Philadelphia, all united in a day of defiance to reject the militarization of democracy and to push back against Trump’s military parade and birthday spectacle. The movement’s message was clear: democracy belongs to the people, not to any one man, and certainly not to a president who acts more like a king than a public servant.

Estimates suggest millions joined the No Kings protests, making this the largest single-day anti-Trump mobilization since his return to office. Organizers intentionally avoided Washington, D.C., to keep the focus on a broad, grassroots movement rather than a direct confrontation, choosing instead to fill streets, parks, and plazas everywhere else with peaceful crowds demanding accountability and real democracy. While there is no official nationwide count yet, both organizers and major outlets report that turnout was in the millions, with over two thousand events held across the country. The mood was passionate but peaceful, with participants committed to nonviolent action and determined to show that real power rises from the people, not from tanks or parades.

The contrast with Trump’s birthday parade could not be starker. While the military display in D.C. was expected to draw about two hundred thousand, the No Kings marches dwarfed it by orders of magnitude, with millions in attendance nationwide. For those who believe in democracy and public pressure, today’s turnout was a resounding reminder that the country’s future is not decided by pageantry or ego, but by the collective voice of its people.

The 200,000 for Trump was an estimate based on apparent inaccuracies of requested tickets or something. So that figure was downgraded to 20,000. I think who knows, but the pictures would seem to indicate quite sparse attendance for the Loon. The people have spoken — quite loudly. They don't want Trump and his not very merry band of misfits and know-nothings.
