So my Walmart grocery order is on the way so put my wig and sock mops on. Got different flavours of mayo, garlic parm, regular garlic mayo and smoky bacon. A couple of the frozen queso meals I enjoy, some beans, tortillas, soft taco dinner bake which also has tortillas, cheese sauce and 4 tortillas, easy quesadilla. None of the regular frozen meals as I like to have room in the fridge. I will also get some beans, chipotle and other black bean refried beans from Amazon. Lots of mexican flavour in this haul, 70 bucks but this will last a while.

I decided the whole buy mcdonalds thing was silly and did not save enough money to have been practical. Make my own burgers, beans and rice. Ramen is a better way to save a buck and can be dressed up. Quesadilla maker also offers a lot, the english muffin meal from the Quesadilla maker was good but works better with tortillas.

Got all items BUT the paper bags did not have handles, delivery was great and got all items though so that part was good. If I am asked to review the delivery, all complements to delivery driver and store for getting all items but will adv to use bags with handles.

Chicagoan, geez, what an ordeal. I hope the MSK schedulers can work some magic for you to get you in asap.

Chicagoan - what a travel nightmare and having to cancel your appointment. The airline industry is the worst! We are being held captive🙄

@chicagoan Ugh how annoying and disappointing that is to miss your appointment, I’m sorry. Hoping they can work you back in soon🤞🏻

@mara51506 Seriously, ugh no handles? Annoying for sure hopefully they adhere to your advice.

All these flash floods are so scary, prayers to keep everyone safe. Wishing everyone a better day. In your pockets for appointments, eyeglasses, liver issues, jaw issues and just everyday life!❌⭕️❤️

Anyone within a flood zone I am hoping is safe right now, pockets where needed on this one.

Cookie, yeah dumb isn't it. Delivery, driver and getting it on time were very good. Paid 5.97 for the delivery and driver tip. Not too bad of a total.

Went to bed at 6 am, I was watching videos on facebook and youtube, lost track of time. Decided to go to bed instead of staying up all night, woke up 12pm so feel pretty good.

Laundry will be going on, sink in kitchen will be fully clear soon which is great. Was stuck on figuring out what I wanted to eat, freezer had another one of those bowls from Walmart, queso cheese and macaroni noodles so started with that.

Later on, may do a quesadilla, put garlic on either one tortilla or full size, cook up a chicken dog, chop up with small amount of beans and cheese on top, put in the quesadilla maker, love that thing since it was only 11 dollars.

I hope everyone has a good day, in pockets for all.

@candy-678 good news on the stable scan results. Wow, I can't imagine doing this for 23 years! I am 9 years now…

@sf-cakes Lovely breakfast. Looks like something I would order! Love Santa Fe.

@mara51506 Love hearing how well you are doing. I am fatigued at trying to decide on our dinner menu for four. I would love to try some of your meals but I know my family wouldn't go for it.

@sf-cakes - How nice to be visiting friends! That breakfast does look real inviting. I haven't had a waffle in ages, and I love them. I've been trying to "eat healthy". Those berries will work though, so maybe when I'm at the store later today …

Intolight- This person doesn't understand that MBC does not go into remission, and we can stop treatment. They think that if the cancer is under control that we can stop our meds. Why continue taking meds??

Yeah, I have told people we MBCers "scan/treat/repeat". I, and we on here, understand that concept. But others that are not dealing with cancer personally seem to think that if our cancer is doing well we can take a break from the meds. This person that I was talking to today didn't seem to understand the concept that we have to CONTINUE to take the meds, even when we are getting good reports.
