Hi @bectoria , welcome to the community! We're really glad you found us, though we're sorry for what brings you here. Kisqali can cause hair thinning and hair loss, but it typically doesn't cause complete baldness like traditional chemotherapy does. Hair thinning can be such a tough side effect to deal with, and we hope other members will chime in soon with their own experiences and support. For now, you might find these pages from our main site helpful:

  • hello and I’m with you. I’m one year in on Kisqali/letrosole/xgeva shots. My hair thinning to little feathers is quite something. You forget that it used to keep your ears warm at night. I try to make it as fun as possible. Pretty scarves, hats, even silly wigs around our grandchildren. This and many other side effects have made me grateful for life, aware of my own vanity over the good things actually shared with loved ones that have nothing to do with that. Quite the learning experience.

  • Hello. My hair has dramatically thinned out over the past several months, and I feel like it was very fast. I went through chemotherapy five years ago and experienced complete hair loss, so was super bummed to see clumps of my hair coming out every brush or wash. My hair is very thin, to the point that you can see my scalp. My sister did have her wig lady make me a wig. It feels weird to have fake hair on my head, but it's a great alternative. I will get another one that's a different color, since it sounds like I will be on Kisqali permanently.
