💗 July 2026 Surgery Roll Call — Come Share Your Experience and Get Support 💗
If you have surgery coming up in July—whether it's a lumpectomy, mastectomy, reconstruction, or another procedure—this thread is for you.
This is a place to connect with people who truly understand what it's like to count down the days, prepare for surgery, recover afterward, and navigate all the emotions in between.
Whether you're feeling calm, anxious, hopeful, overwhelmed, or a little bit of everything, you're welcome here.
✨ Introduce Yourself
Tell us your surgery date, share a little about yourself, or simply say, "I'm here."
Then keep coming back.
One of the best parts of these monthly Surgery Roll Calls is getting to follow each other's journeys—from pre-op jitters to surgery day, through recovery, and beyond. We love celebrating good news, offering encouragement on difficult days, and being there for one another every step of the way.
đź’¬ We'd Love for You to Check In Often
This thread isn't just for one post. We encourage you to use it as your surgery journal and support circle throughout the month.
Come back to let us know:
- How you're preparing
- What you're feeling as surgery gets closer
- How surgery went
- How recovery is going
- Questions that come up along the way
- Victories—big or small
- Tough days when you could use a little extra support
Even a quick update lets everyone know how you're doing and gives others the chance to cheer you on.
đź’ž Every Post Makes a Difference
You may think your update is small—but someone else may be reading quietly, feeling exactly the same way.
When you share your experience, you help others feel less alone. When you reply to someone else's post, you remind them that someone is walking beside them.
The friendships and encouragement in these monthly threads grow because people keep checking in and supporting one another.

Hi, after 1 week from the surgery, ı had neurophatia in my fingers and started lyrica 2× 75 mg. Does this effect my radiotheraphy?

Hi @kadillak ,
Welcome, though we're sorry you have reason to be here.
Neuropathy can happen after surgery for a number of reasons, and it's good that you've let your team know. In general, Lyrica (pregabalin) does not interfere with radiation therapy, but it's always important to let your radiation oncologist know about any medications you're taking before treatment begins.
Hopefully, other members who have experienced neuropathy after surgery or taken Lyrica during radiation will share their experiences. Wishing you continued healing. đź’—
