Bilateral exchange surgery Wed Sept 16!

After two primary breast cancers, two major complications and waaaaay too long with a once-infected tissue expander still in,

I’M HAVING IT ALL CLEANED UP!

Couldn’t do it with a DEIP like I had hoped, so both the expander (left) and the silicone implant (right) will be removed, the capsular contracture tissue will be taken out on both sides to also attempt to lessen the risk of any infection problems going forward.

Now, it’s my first bilateral surgery—how much help does one need per day? Here in Madrid I stay one night at the hospital, have asked for help from friends but will probably need to hire additional help as I live alone and my teenage daughter will be staying at her dad’s.
