Re: I say YES. YOU say NO....Numero Tre! Enjoy!
Ask yourself why only about 20 elected Democrats in the House and Senate are willing to publicly sign on to the proposed bill: Iran War Powers Resolution brought by Thomas Massie (R-KY) and Ro Khanna (D-CA to prohibit U.S. involvement in the Israel-Iran war. There are currently 27 co-sponsors.
Call your elected member of Congress to tell them know YOU ARE WATCHING and that you will vote against them if they try to hide behind inaction. And that's what they're doing. I will not let the next wave of 18 year olds become the next wave of young men and women who come back in body bags, with PTSD or missing limbs. This is entirely preventable but it takes you to say you want your country back.

Oh there is so much to work with here, but I'm not going to say anything but that yes — another great way to cheapen our lovely White House. At least it's not gold-plated.

Not sure what may turn up today as many of the sights I go to said they would not be publishing today as it is Juneteenth day.
I am in fact heartened by the fact that the No Kings marches turned out so well, but do fee concerned about sad and somewhat dejected Loon. He feels like he must do something to whomever he perceives chose to be his enemy for whatever they did that didn't show absolute agreement with he and his wishes — no matter how stupid, worthless or just plain ruthless they might be. While the pretense is that he had huge amts. of people at his 'great' parade etc. anyone who looked could easily discern the difference. He knows he got a great big SNUB. Frankly, even he appeared bored enough to fall asleep. So, I feel edgy about the Iran thing. He has not come out and said much - yet. Perhaps he is still trying to figure out HOW to do something so as to even the score.
He has no realization that he never really gets even. Nothing lasts for him and something or someone is ALWAYS letting him down. I guess that's a narcissist. Their perception is so far off there is not even a scale so he stays in the cycle—never free of it for long.
FURTHER NOTE:
Just wanted to say I do appreciate those who share some time and words now and then here and those who use emoji's. Some days it takes a fair spot to time to hunt up things to share so knowing it was at least looked at helps me maintain the desire to keep sharing.
Re: Breast cancer treatment and living alone
I don’t live alone-so I can’t address that.
whenyou are first diagnosed, it is overwhelming and scary. I felt so much better once I had my treatment plan in place and knew what to expect.
For me neither chemo or radiation were too bad. I was able to do most of my normal activities and day to day things. Every day I walked for 30-60 minutes, which helped me mentally, physically and emotionally. There were some days I did need to take a short nap in the afternoon- but luckily I never felt too bad. Hopefully it will be the same for you.
If you have friends and family close by, remember they would love the opportunity to do something (anything) to help you. And, a lot of times, people do not know what to do to help. They appreciate you giving them a specific thing to do- like could you go to the grocery store and pick up my list of things, could you come with me to thins appointment, could you bring me dinner, could you mow my lawn, etc. Ask people for what you need- they will be thrilled to do something to help!
Also, don’t hesitate to join a cancer support group or ask questions on this site. I found so much helpful information on here about what to expect, how to deal with side effects, etc. I got far more information from here than I did from my providers. People who have been through it know what is helpful.
Sending good thoughts your way as you begin your treatment
