This is the kind of thing that needs to happen all the time, every time. The Reps. are people who spare no one - - - and the fact that we often seem to should definitely come to a stop. Time to get down to the nitty-gritty and stay there — like they would and do.

I very much believe this. Either it's cutting too much, or not nearly enough depending on which side. Either way they are all pretty much over the top and seem not to be able to grasp the damage they are doing to people (many their own) and to those who are going to have to participate in the mid-terms.

It sounds like the U.S. is reeling from one shitty thing to another. I avoid so much of the news now. Not all of it, mind you. But it was so much easier to start feeling cornered and a bit helpless with all the 24 hr. bombardment. Able to pick and choose now and that is far better.
