Okay, I guess you can tell I'm not very vain at all. What is it with these guys who seem to want women with enhanced busts, and or maybe lips a bit as well. So, I do not find the girl friend really too attractive although at the same time Bezos isn't so much either in my eyes.
I find it highly annoying that you can be eye candy (so to speak) but looked upon as empty a the very top of your body and not to be trusted for more than perhaps baby-making or looking nice.
Just an after-thought. I read in passing yesterday Venice is not all that happy with this couple. Who knows. Perhaps they too think it better to feed people than to use millions on a marriage that likely only exists because there is some greed along with some notoriety.

I also am not fond of referring to one's breast cancer experience as a "journey." Aside from the fact that journeys have an ending and this one's indefinite, as noted above, they're are usually interesting and fun, dammit! Breast cancer, not so much.
I will say that I've come away with increased appreciation and respect for the women and men who choose health care for their professions, especially the nurses, aides, radiation therapists, MRI technicians, and, yes, even those dungeon mistresses, the mammogram techs. All those with whom I've come into contact have shown a great combination of efficiency, professionalism, and real kindness, making a largely awful experience more bearable.

I pause in thought, wondering if the reason this thread has so few (although valuable) posts because of the constant pressure we all have and feel to "focus on the positive" as cancer patients.
Basically my life has changed from enjoyment of gender, exercise, food and many interests to one of being genderless with constant efforts of diet and exercise, with little to no positive results. The accelerated aging with no advance counseling to help in making a more educated decisions about treatment is a bummer. I especially find seeing most oncologists useless for addressing these kinds of problems because their nursing staff are pre or perimenopausal and truly clueless about accelerated aging problems that contribute to inflammation and cancer recurrence.

Lauren Sanchez at one time resembled a normally attractive human being and then decided that she needed to up her game to appeal to more men. Personally I think she is ugly after all the plastic surgery she has had and that more men are probably looking at her breasts than her face or are concerned if there is any gray matter between those ears. I think I read that both she and Bezos were married to others when they met and quickly dumped their respective spouses so they could forge this marriage. I hope she didn't sign a pre-nup and I really don't forsee a "until death do us part" marriage here.
Venice has a right to protest this invasion. I think George Clooney also married there but with not the same amount of fanfare. Venice is not that large and the narrow streets can easily be overcome by large crowds. I do feel for them because this does impact on the residents ability to go on with their lives.

Hi!! Since my original post, I was diagnosed with MBC to my liver and several other places. 5 months of weekly taxol l, plus herceptin and perjeta every 3 weeks knocked it down to just a small spot on my liver. Until today, I was optimistic that I could possibly survive this for several years. Routine mammogram and ultrasound tho found a mass near my sternum and an enlarged lymph node under my arm. Both “highly suspicious for metastatic disease” Awesome….next up PET/CT scan on Friday….ugh, I hate this!

lumpectomy and bilateral reduction on 4/27 at Dana Farber. I’m Stage 1 grade 1 and hoping that doesn’t change with surgery.
mom doing all that I can to be ready including exercise, massage, saunas, red light therapy, tightly controlling nutrition etc.
Right now I’d say my biggest challenges are mental.
