Impressive picture Canary. I really like the Alium as well.

NM, that's an alarming mom story. The situation with moving her is more urgent than I had realized. Good luck with managing your projects and demanding roles. I'll be sending you helpful vibes.
Re: how about drinking?
A neighbor challenged me to test what he believe is the BEST gin. Hmmmm.
For everyday use in Gin & Tonics, I pour Gordon's. By the time I add lime & tonic, it doesn't seem so critical to use 'top shelf' gin. I find it smooth rather than abrasive. Also Gordon's has less alcohol (40% or 80 proof) so I can have two drinks if I want.
If I'm going to make a martini or drink gin on the rocks, I prefer Tanqueray (47.3%). That doesn't happen often anymore - and usually only when I'm out to a fancy dinner. My son prefers Bombay (43%). The price is about the same so I'll stick to my usual.
So anyway, the neighbor's challenge was Beefeater (40%) which he said beat everything else. Sorry - straight up it can't beat Tanqueray in my opinion. In a G&T, why would I pay the extra cost (double the price of Gordon's).
And now it's 4:30pm on a Saturday so I think I'll mix a libation. Like Carole, G&T is my summer drink. It's only 94 today so maybe I should consider bourbon?
Re: how about drinking?
Minus, if I pick gin, I prefer Plymouth. I still have the 47 proof beefeater and noticed they are watering it down to 40 proof. Last year, I bought a huge bottle (when I was able to order out of state) of Tanqueray 10 but have still not opened it. I find the original Tanq to be quite sweet tasting. Bombay (red-original) is also quite good. I've had Gordon's and agree, for the price, you cannot beat it.
I opened a Rioja last night.
Re: I say YES. YOU say NO....Numero Tre! Enjoy!
There goes his masculinity right out the window again. Love it and I hope you ladies keep it up. Just what the drunk needs. A heavy, harsh dose of actual reality so he can identify who he is — emasculated ass-kisser. Whose getting the next round for Petey.

It's delightful to spend money — especially someone else's. Stupid and insane — poor combination for saving money or doing the right thing.
