Re: I say YES. YOU say NO....Numero Tre! Enjoy!
Ruth, I was thinking similar thoughts earlier. We really didn't know until the Loon came along and no one pretended anymore about caring and or trying at decency at all. All over in one regime change. Extraordinary to have it all go so fast.
Re: I say YES. YOU say NO....Numero Tre! Enjoy!
So Grassley and others had nothing to do today but invest in their particular stupidity. First off, there really wasn't really a decline — at least mentally for Pres. Biden. But you and those like you made sure to get enough negativism out that his hand was forced. It must have been really awful with VP Harris stole the show. So then someone had to step in and buy an office for the Loon.
I am so going to miss Sen Durbin. Good for you Senator. I hope even if not much was said at the time, that all the stupid people who thought this hearing was a good idea are having a lot of second thought. They might say it, but sure hope they are feeling it. Nothing like being called out with TRUTH. It has a way of hanging a few icicles around.

I think Grassley should pack up his desk, while leaving a letter of resignation on it, go home and keep his mouth shut forever more.

The last decent Republican. I really did like him.

If you knew nothing else much about the Loon — this type of 'news' should upset the heck out of you. What liar in your life do you still have total confidence in?

My uncle died from mesothelioma as a direct exposure to asbestos when he worked in an electric power plant with the turbines. His brother, who also worked for the electric company, also died of lung cancer, but I was not privy to his death certificate to see if it was related to asbestos exposure.
The uncle who died from mesothelioma had a chest x-ray done as part of his physical exam. It was referred to a physician but the x-ray was mistakenly filed and not reviewed by this physician. Two years later his next chest x-ray was awful and at this time he was beyond the point of timely treatment that may have saved his life. He did live for 10 more years but had to be on oxygen, many meds and was in horrible pain. He was having his chest drained every few months for very large amounts of fluid. He never complained about what happened, or held the doctor to blame. After his death the claim he had submitted was awarded money from one of the companies. I wish he had lived to get the money. It was split between my DF and my uncle who would have rather had him around. The 3 of them took a trip to Ireland which was one of his bucket list wishes. My DF and he were watching a football game on TV when he peacefully slipped away.
Ths decision is based on the rich wanting to deregulate a lot of harmful products and will result in many deaths but they don't give a flying f**k.
