Re: Surgery scheduled for December 2025? Join the surgery waiting room for support!
Hi,
Met with my surgeon yesterday. Even though the lymph nodes were positive and I have extensive LVI, my onco type is 7 so no chemo. Over the moon about that and now my pending treatment seems much more palatable. Thank God for small blessings.
Will meet with the oncologist and radiation oncologist in January. Will post updates.
Happy Holidays.
Re: So...whats for dinner?
Wallycat, it is very windy here now. My DH has battery back-up for my oxygen and a generator if need be. I am sorry your DH is struggling. I am on the verge of tears too but hanging tight. Sending hugs.
Re: December 2021 Surgeries
I had my surgery last week on the 29th, skipped my 6th chemo and opted for surgery, and just I received the news from my surgeon that my results were what they call a pathological complete response - meaning all tissue including lymph nodes were clear of cancer. 🎉💪🏼
Chemo completely sucked but it worked!!! And, bonus, I have started eating again. 🍽
Waiting to hear from my oncologist as to how much radiation I will now be scheduled for as well as the remaining treatments.
Wishing everyone a Happy & Healthy 2022!!!
Gym and running ( or we are done for lifetime )
Anyone STILL going to gym after their treatment ( DMX AND DIEP FLAP)?
Is it possible I will be ablw to do activities like before cancer ? After my treatment
