Re: Phesgo - Clinical trial
Hi beautiful warriors! I am so sorry I have not posted an update. Since I was enrolled in the clinical trial, there were three people. participating, now over 30 women are enrolled - which breaks my heart. Do we really have that many women that have the same type of breast cancer or cancer at all in the same area. 1 in 8 crazy will have breast cancer. 😥
Great news! I've had a dexaScan done. I've had three echograms done. I've had numerous amount of blood work done. All come back as great so I'm very very encouraged. The shots are every 3 weeks only 5 minutes you wait 15 minutes and you are to go if you don't have any issues now.
The wonderful news is that I had first mammogram since I was diagnosed last October. Very nervous. Didn't know what was going to happen but I knew God was going to put me on a path one way or the other. I was very blessed to find out when the surgeon came in that I was cancer-free so she said see you in a year so I know the clinical trial is definitely working because the cancer has not returned. I am in the phase two of the clinical trial and still have 6 months to go so I will update everybody.
Thank you so much for all your support and for us being here for each other. Reach out if you have any anything that I can help you with. ♥️

Re: Can we have a forum for "older" people with bc?
harley07, happy the Panama canal photos brought back memories of your trip.
carole, glad you enjoyed the photos as well. It is a lovely trip.
Today was an abbreviated visit to Aruba. We had no excursion planned and we met a couple who were going on their snorkeling excursion. We decided to get off the ship to explore the walkable downtown. We did pick up some family gifts.
I wasn't feeling well after breakfast, but was able to last until we returned. Can't identify which food is causing stomach upset and had been good for several days lately. Tonight we were to go to a Cellar Master's dinner where wines were paired with each course. I asked DH to cancel for me, but encouraged him to go. He was really looking forward to it so I am glad he did go. Not really hungry and not willing to eat exotic menu and drink that much wine. The menu was 7 courses.
Here are some photos of Oranjestad:
