i start a 3 to 6 week therapy. Nervous about it, mainly because of the damage to other organ's from three radiation.

@mara51506 Glad to you’re keeping a close watch on DB and SIL,it’s nice to support each other. I love my air fryer and I know you’ll enjoy trying different ways of making food

Cold rainy day here so I ‘have been in decorating a little at a time. I do love the cozy feeling in the house with the soft Christmas lights. DH needs a heart cath on Wednesday, he is a heart failure patient and they are seeing some changes on his ekg. He has been having some mild intermittent chest pain so I have been ramping up the prayers. Sometimes I can’t believe we are both in this position in our 50’s.Each day sure is a gift!

Thank you Pam and tough old crow (is that what I should call you?) You seen too nice for that name🤣. I’m a newbie because all I had to do when I was first diagnosed was take a pill. Psych ing myself up for this. Will be happy to see exactly what is going on…..and hoping I can get better pain meds tomorrow. Thank you for your patience with all my questions 🫶

@threetree I am sorry about your electrolyte imbalance, I am glad you are getting a break from your drug for a while.
My post from yesterday got lost, not too much to say. Went to bed late, watched videos on facebook until later. Woke a 1pm today. Still slept pretty well, no complaints there. Played games for money yesterday, don't make too much but that is fine, some of the games are fun and give a budget boost. I did talk to DB, it is nice talking to him and SIL, told him just checking in on him. I think he appreciated that. He is frustrated no consult appointment set up yet with neurosurgeon. I told him I called both my RO office who referred me and the neurosurgeon office as well, all I can do. No symptoms at this point.
Laundry on the agenda as usual, floors etc, that is about it. Waiting for my air fryer, hoping it shows up for supper. At this point, I am making a frozen penne with chicken, will be adding a veggie stir fry as well, put them together, can use as sides or a complete meal. They are very good. Still craving the burritos I bought but want to eat up other stuff first. Not sure the air fryer will be here in time for dinner, will heat up hashbrowns in the oven if needed. I am presently having a mixed dish of penne pasta with veggie stir fry and 1 tsp of soaked chia seeds. They are very filling so went with a small amount. Adding taco seasoning, white cheddar seasoning and adding small amount of garlic parm mayo to bind a bit. Will see how it tastes, I enjoy it, that is for sure.
Hope days are going well for people and in pockets for anyone who needs me.

hi Pam. I made a mistake, it’s my sacrum where I have all the pain. I get PET scan Thursday and will update everything correctly when I get diagnosis. I had no lymph node involvement either, and thought oh yay! That’s it. Thank you for posting. I am on pins and needles and have such anxiety and fear. I am grateful for you and this community.❤️

@brutersmom yes those fasoldex horse needles always leave a tender lump under my skin and the also get like an itchy hive that I always want to scratch. The one remedy for the itch is good old fashion Bactine spray. Works immediately☺️
No more flu shots for me, haven’t had one since 2017. they always made me so sick with some kind of flu anyway. I also refused to get the Covid Vax. I’ll trust my own immunity therapies I take daily. On is Beet root cut up in pieces or sliced with fresh ginger root, 2 cinnamon sticks cloves a sprig of fresh rosemary and lemon juice and orang slices and also 2 tablespoons of honey. put it all in a small pot pour a fe cups of spring water and bring to a boil for 5 minutes until the tea is dark red. I pour it all into a large jar. Drink a cup of the warm tea or put so ice cubes in and drink ice cold. After the jar of tea cools I cap it & put in the refrigerator. I dink small cups of it throughout the day and especially first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. It actually tastes like a Holiday tea. It’s great for your blood and immune system. Enjoy!🥰

Last month my fulvestrant shot caused sever bad pain. It is gone now except for 2 tender spots where the shots were given. I get them agai. Tuesday and I am felling nervous. It is Saturday. I hope this month goes better then last month.

I wanted you all to know that I hit my 8 year cancerversary. Still doing well, Thank God!. I will remain on tamoxifen for 10 years. I have little side effects. My onc said he will figure out something when the 10 years are up. I hope this brings some peace to your day. You will be posting here soon too! Love Nancy.
