Pumpkin is now a country dog! She is in Napa, living with my daughter and family (and their dog and two cats😂). I miss her terribly but they are taking good care of her and she knows them and their pets. Here she is with my granddaughter who just turned 13. I am lucky that I had a loving familiar place to send her to so I don’t have to worry about her care.

@exbrnxgrl Thank you. I am sorry you’re having some pain. Glad it can be controlled, but sleeping a lot because of the meds, not so much.
I do nap daily and went pretty deep today.
I’m having more problems eating and being able to breathe because of the basketball in my stomach. It’s not fun not to be able to breathe.
I’m so glad you have your friends and can FaceTime.
I will be 12 years in August when they missed my diagnosis, so we are close with how much time we’ve had. I am grateful for sure.

I need a board break for a while. I will still read but cannot maintain posts and make them interesting to myself. If anyone asks what I made food wise, I can answer but for now, reading is all I can do.
I am always in pockets and always hoping for good days.

@cookie54 Those seem like rather strange symptoms, re the low blood calcium, but I guess that we should not be surprised by anything that crops up in Cancerland! Hope that you do not get numbness and that the condition rights itself.
@rlschaller How is your arm range of motion these days … and your nail concerns? Good that you can do your workouts!

Just found out that the rescue who gave us BangBang & Roxy lost their beloved dog Gilligan to a ruptured stomach tumor. She was 14 and loved everyone: prospective adopter visitors, other dogs, cats, hamsters, and guinea pigs. (She even located a runaway hamster).

Mara-Totally understandable. Take whatever break you need.
Today I wound up having a good day. I had lunch to celebrate the birthday of a 91 y/o acquaintance. I really didn't want to go since I have work later and it is extremely hot here. But despite my bad attitude, I wound up having a marvelous time. Now I'm relaxing a bit before I head off to work. My right hip is still really bothering me so it's very challenging to walk. I'm going to try more acupuncture next week and keep at the PT.
