@kbl thanks Kris, I got the chat abd was able to catch up a little on everyones progress, thanks a lot. Im sorry about your inability to eat much and all youre going through, and I pray that you get some occasional relief at least . My bloodwork was ok. But the Mammogram and Ultrasound showed a pea size lesion on that same breast. I'll get my Oncologists opinion on that today. 🙏🏻🙏🏻 love and hugs

I was very anxious last year when I had two crowns replaced, but it went really well. Since the work does not invade the jaw, was able to continue as normal with meds. Hope your experience is the same.
Think about you every day with all you are dealing with, but like you, struggle to post as often as I should. Hoping that the dental work proceeds smoothly, with no ONJ - remember, the percentage of patients who develop it is relatively low, so you have a good chance at success 😊The big D could definitely be from amoxicillin. Antibiotics have that effect on me too. If you aren't already including yogurt or other sources of probiotics in your diet, please add some. It will protect the good gut bacteria.
Following your journey with the new liver development and histotripsy. Thanks for educating me on something that could be in my future. Hoping it turns out to be a quick and painless solution to the problem.

Hi everyone. Lost my first post, so maybe I'll shorten this one. We are worried about those of you in the severe flash flood zoning. Please stay home if you can. We are in the moderate area and have no plans of going anywhere. This heat is unbearable and the water is laying in swails and across some roads.
Sure learned a lesson on the Amoxocillin. What a dumb mistake to make. Here I am, a retired optician without reading glasses. lol. I have my sunglass readers on till I can get to the optical shop. The polariod sunglasses help tremendously with migraine headaches. Just not so great in darker rooms. Shanagirl, I hope you get back on the right path of healing. In your pocket as well as all of my sweet friends. Cookie, intothelight and anyone I may have missed, your caring is so touching. My days are brighter because of you folks.

Reader425, So sorry to hear about your cat. It is hard when they leave us. I miss my Russian Blue—best cat ever. I would get another one but I just can't care for it properly anymore. One of the things I hate about this disease.

We're In the dog days now...heat, humidity but thankfully still coastal breezes here where I'm at.
Been busy taking care of our boy cat. We recently found he has what they believe is lymphoma. Lost weight etc. He's on 'pallitive' care at home but have been told there's a slim chance the medication could provoke a remission. We told the vet we know he will tell us when it's his time. I'm heartbroken as he's our friendly, cuddly cat and "picked me" from the rescue. Our feisty girl cat picked DH. He here is looking sweet.

Irish, I am sorry as well about the mixup with the meds and the side effects resulting from that. In your pocket about that. Perhaps DD or DGD can get some reading glasses for you or you could possibly order on Amazon. I wear the ones that magnify and provide computer light blockers so my eyes do not get tired. Maybe a separate pill box that keeps the drug separate. Easy to misread stuff.

Goldens, our weather here in London would be similar to yours. We are under a heat and air quality warning due to wildfires up north in Manitoba and when they have the right wind smoke goes a long way. Of course people are out exercising and running outdoors with poor air quality and heat. Not sure why they don't go to an indoor walking and running track, at least until it cools a bit. It is boring but people should not take chances. I am waiting for my hip fans, coming tomorrow. Got 2 since they can sit on a computer and blow air at me too, apparently they are pretty powerful. We will see.
Got the sink cleared AND clean finally. Put some hot water down the drain a couple of times, I heat water to just under boiling and pour down. Keep those nasty drain flies away. After, put a green gobbler stick, it is an enzyme that works to keep drains clear of debris and keep it smelling good. I have heard of putting used tea bags in drain, not broken ones but whole ones and pour hot water over the bags. Still got the wet dry vac and could do a dry vac of any drain but that won't be necessary I do not think. Thinking of buying a second one. I still use the bathroom sink to soak dishes in as well, wee washers work well for soaking silverware when the kitchen sink is not available. Always do a hot water poured down the drain as well. Keep out the drain flies. Planning a good meal, I think. Several steps so will put each one separate.
Will take two eggs and 1/4 cup of black beans. Mixed together in a sprayed bowl, covered with lid. Heated 5 mins.
Take the cooled eggs, and beans. Put them in the chopper once cooled and chop up so they have the ground beef texture I like so much. Take the chopped ingredients and top with one of my Mcdonalds meat patties that still have the mac sauce. Add some shredded cheese and put a couple of daubs of garlic spread and bit of queso.
Bake at 375 to allow good melting of cheese and other ingredients, 15 mins or so. After cooling, eat. This will be delicious no matter any binding like salad dressing, sour cream or more mac sauce. I also guarantee that this will be very filling and likely be part of a second meal. Lots of work for a good meal but worth it. Later will make up some mexican rice, pulverize some beans and add to the rice OR add any leftovers from this first meal to the mix, I will see what I wish to do.
Edit 1The beans and egg mix listed above was good, followed steps listed above, no binding used or needed since the garlic and queso and cheese provided good flavour and moisture. All things added a dimension to the meal, especially the burger. Will keep getting the double big mac no bun to use as meal additions.
I have also thought about breaking up the dry ramen, I find the packet limits what I can do with the ramen so if broken up before heating, I can mimic rice in any dish or keep dry ramen pack in a container and use a bit at a time if not feeling the full package. I can heat broken ramen and strain it.
Laundry and other budget boosting are priority stuff I want to get done mostly as well as keeping tools used in this meal clean as I go along.

@onlywhenitrains I’m so appreciative of your words. I am definitely an open book, and I don’t mind answering any questions. Thank you so much. I’m so glad you are not at a place to have to make a decision. I took three months before I tried the two Enhertu infusions to really have my tears and acceptance. My doctor tells me he can tell I’m at peace. That really felt good he could realize it too.
@exbrnxgrl My first time finding out it was in my stomach, I had so much nausea. This time I’m not sure if it’s the reglan or steroid that is making it so I don’t.
I’m so sorry you’re throwing up. I’m not looking forward to that. I hope it gets better for you.
Just for anyone reading, my sister has taken on the task of letting people know when I’m gone. I’m not sure I said that. I am at a loss when someone disappears and I don’t know what happens.

Happy belated 68th, canarycat! Love the cake! (That's the kind of "fruitcake" to which no dietician would object).
I used to buy the 40-lb bags of regular (non-clumping) FreshStep litter, but the urine would sink to the bottom of the pan and stick like cement, making weekly cleaning an ordeal. Switched to clumping (the best I've found for easy weekly changes is Arm & Hammer "Slide" but the boxes are heavy); I've since switched to "Hardball" lightweight which doesn't make dust, or Fresh Step Lightweight unscented. Those 8-lb jugs are much easier on my back. I scoop whenever I see the box has been used.
The kids are at the Bellagio tonight, flying home in the afternoon. They'd spent the weekend at Joshua Tree and Sequoia. But they lost 4 hrs today when I-15 was closed (halfway to Vegas) due to a car fire, so they had to backtrack 150 miles. Leslie is a saint for doing all the driving (Gordy never did get his license and doesn't want to). They started in Seattle a week ago.
Found a nice counter-height 5-pc dinette set for the kitchen, at Bob's Discount. The chairs aren't tall enough for the seat edge to hit me in the back of my thighs (my pet peeve with "high-top" bar tables) but just tall enough that Bob can get up from them without holding on to the table and risk tipping it over. Pluses are that the backs are upholstered (since I lost weight, hard-back chairs hurt my vertebrae—I can no longer eat at Chili's or Outback for that reason, since even their booths' seatbacks are hard, perpendicular wood). The table is round, with storage in the pedestal. And even with "white glove" delivery it's cheaper than anywhere else. It's coming Thursday. Split-king powered bed and new AC will be delivered "tomorrow" (actually, later today). Our own furniture & appliances are returning Friday—setting everything up will be an all-day affair, especially with boxes stacked in the middle of the floor (the contents of some of which will almost certainly have to be discarded—time to arrange for the junk hauler again).
Had a bit of a crisis when I discovered the daybed takes a twin, not twin XL mattress. (HK had originally said twin XL, but admitted her recollection was faulty). Found this out when shopping online for a cover-and-sham set for it—nothing wider than 75" (XL is 80"). Tried to change the order online in Macy's app or its site, but no link; and wasted 2 hrs dealing with the impossible automated phone system—when I reached a live human being at furniture customer service (which turned out to be at corporate HQ, not the store), she said I'd have to speak to the salesman—who wasn't answering. After holding multiple times, was turfed to a survey—and when completed, it hung up on me. Had to drive there—fortunately, the salesman was there, but the store's phone system wasn't paging his extension. Got it all straightened out (surprisingly, twin is the same price as twin XL) but the delivery had to be moved to next Monday because the twin mattress had to be shipped.
Then at the house, I discovered that the outlet in the front room for the TV & stereo is "switched!" Never gave it any thought before, because we never had working track lights (on that circuit) in that room—just left the switch on and used a floor lamp. Turning off the switch would erase all settings on the TV, cable/sat box and components. So the electrician will have to rewire the receptacle before I can buy a new TV. (The 43" one I had in that room before the fire had a screen with an annoying pair of vertical lines—so we plan to move the 46" one from the den into the front, and buy a 55" for Bob in the den). No point in reconnecting cable & sat before we have a TV on the way—and we'll need to buy larger consoles on which to put them (the 46" has feet at either end rather than a center pedestal, so the stand we had for the front room would be too narrow to fit it; and the stand we had in the den barely fit the 46", so we'll need to buy one for the new bigger set.
Sometimes it feels like I'm juggling flaming chainsaws while tap-dancing in roller skates.
