Re: Can we have a forum for "older" people with bc?
Oh Harley - so sorry to hear about the bee/wasp stings that got your DH. I too have neighbors who don't maintain their side of the property line, but they now have 12 dogs so no way I can address it. (or have my son fix the fence when he comes to town). The same neighbor has a HUGE oak in front that he planted right on the water meter. I have paid to have my side trimmed several times since he doesn't believe in maintenance. But not sure what will happen when the roots break the pipes.
Re: I say YES. YOU say NO....Numero Tre! Enjoy!

Re: So...whats for dinner?
Carole, I hope you enjoy your breakfast out and the bluegrass festival. I have never added a cob while cooking corn chowder but it sounds like a good way to enhance the flavor.
Dinner tonight was the rest of the cube steak with tomatoes, onion and corn braised in chili powder mix served on rice. It turned out well.
Re: So...whats for dinner?
Laurie, how do you make the chicken-salsa and brown rice dinner? Is it as simple as it sounds? I love new ideas for brown rice and am trying to eat more lean protein so that sound perfect...
SusansGarden, the more you eat anti-bc food, the more you may come to like it... I still crave "bad" foods at times but they taste less and less good to me. I'm a huge veggies, fruit and whole-grains fan now.
PB & banana -- the best way to eat PB! I don't get the PB & pickle thing, though
Stay warm and safe, everyone -- I'm off to fix my dinner!
