Re: Can we have a forum for "older" people with bc?
All animals at the sanctuary were rescued due to injury, owner abuse or illegal possession of a non-native animal. They live out their natural lives there.

Sloth with her 3 week old son.
When it's lunch time sloths move quickly.
3 week old on left and 4 month old on right. Both are orphans due to mom hit by car and other mom killed by a dog.
Re: Can we have a forum for "older" people with bc?
@petite1 @betrayal your holiday adventure photos are great! I've been viewing them numerous times. I work all this weekend and it's super slow. So I was able to catch up on all 49 new posts!!! Tomorrow I have my annual eyeball tests and Tuesday an endometrial biopsy. Exercise this week will be tricky as I miss all three of my scheduled classes for appointments. ugh. I'm watching baseball Go Jays Go as well as hockey and saw the last period of the Nuckleheads vs Washington today. Canucks are lucky it stayed 4-3. They went into the third at 4-1. ugh.
Kitties are not amused that the weather is tipping but still try to go out if I open the door to the catio, Hope everyone is doing well.
Re: Second DCIS, same breast, strong family history -- remove one breast or both?
I was diagnosed with DCIS and ended up after 2 surgery’s having a bilateral mastectomy. Pathology showed minor DCIS in the “good” breast. I’m so thankful I went ahead and had the bilateral.
Re: thread for middle age to older Christian women.
Hello,
My name is Susie, I'm 49 and I am a Christian. Thank you for starting this thread! When I first started visiting bc.org, it broke my heart to see the "anybody else an atheist but me" thread and the fact it had so many posts. I don't know how people get through this without the Good Lord. I know without a doubt that all the prayers that were said for me brought me through this and I give him all the praise and the glory for it! Our Heavenly Father is SO Good!
Re: Starting radiation October 2025? Let's support each other!
Seems like most of the people on this site are busy sharing recipies and pictures of trips, aka living their lives, which is a good thing, to respond to posts so as someone who is also starting radiation this month I hope we both have an easy time of it and that it will truly help do away with the chances of reoccurrence of this horrible disease. If I may ask, do you know how many treatments you are getting and are you doing whole or partial breast? I had hoped for a quick five and partial but my radiologist recommended 20 and whole. The idea of having to do this every day for four weeks is freaking me out some. How are you doing?
