Hi @ampmusic14, I’m sorry that you are dealing with the appearance of a lump. Your plastic surgeon will probably be able to weigh in and refer you for scans if necessary. If not your PCP, ob/gyn or other doctor can refer you for an ultrasound and any other necessary imaging. I hope it turns out to be nothing serious. Let us know how things work out. All the best.

I wound up having the beef and macaroni with two torn apart hot dogs, sliced frozen peppers and riced veggies. Heated all for 8 mins in the microwave, added tostitos queso and proper sour cream. With all the fat, took two immodium and digestive enzyme. The meal was quite good and was enjoyable. I am quite full.

@norah2024 it would drive me crazy if I were unable to reach my Oncologist’s office by phone If I need to call there is always someone there, PA’s NA’s receptionists at Cancer Center’s anserwering service. I have also been able to reach him on MY CHART with a medical question or concern with side side effects. They always get right back to me because it goes right to them by email in the communication section Of MY CHART..
I hope your day is a little better today. If you do not see your doctor until your next scheduled appointment try to discuss with him a plan you can follow to reach him when something comes up. You should n’t have to go thru this.
@jen1 Hi . I used to be so obsessive about my tumor markers after the sudden jump from 13 years of being steady number of 24-26. Then suddenly after being NED for 13 years my Onc called me in the evening to say it had jumped to 84, and to get in for scans which showed progression to my bones. After that I combed my CA/27 29 marker test every month once he started me on Verzenio, XGeva, & Fasoldex. I watched as it went down significantly every monthly labs from 84 60’s 40’s then 30 and then suddenly my labs stop showing on My Chart and I realized my Onc was no longer ordering this test anymore. I asked why and he said my scans were always stable, no progression. So now that seems logical to me , if anything showed up on my 4month regularly scheduled scans, a tumor markers test would be irrelevant. Especially with metastatic stage IV breast cancer in the bone… I was taken off Verzenio once last year when I was being treated for an abscess in my jaw during a my 6 month dental cleaning exam. My onc made me stop the XGeva immediately in case of any oral surgery in a root canal , or tooth removal. But the oncology dentist who my oncologist works with said I would not need any dental surgery and he put me on an antibiotic, Amoxicillin. So Verzenio was stoped for the week or so of the antibiotic treatment and the he said I could start the Verzenio once I stopped the Amoxicillin. Can’t take Verzenio with antibiotics. Try not to worry, CBC numbers go up and down pretty regularly for me in high normal and low from time to time. My oncologist is also a Hematologist and he’s been watching my blood tests for nearly 17 years now.😉🩵🌷

@cookie54 and @intolight - Thank you both so very much for the dosage info when I was about to see my oncologist. It was really helpful.
Again, I am just too fatigued from this new Xeloda routine, that I can't post as quickly, often, or as fully as I would like, but I do appreciate all of the thoughts and comments I've received from so many. Additionally, I have to do all of this on my phone these days (long story), and I don't type well at all on my phone.
I saw the onc last Wednesday and felt like things went well. He said that since that spot that appeared on my chest in December is now mostly gone, it is a good sign that the Xeloda is likely working, and it's only been about a month. He says he'd like to give it about 3 months and then do scans before deciding on a dose change. He says that if the response seems "robust" at that time, we could consider lowering the dose. In the meantime he will watch tumor markers.
And speaking of tumor markers, I got the lab results that same evening and could see improvement in just about everything. The tumor markers took a dive, but still aren't quite back into the normal range, but it's something. My oncologist messaged me the next morning saying that, "Tumor markers are falling briskly! This is great news." That made my day. Keeping my fingers crossed for continued "success". Will have another tumor marker check in March and scans in early April .
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend, especially if you have a Valentine. We're supposed to have some more sun here, so I'm looking forward to some walking. Saw some lavender crocus the day before yesterday.

Taco, you get high marks for social interaction, too. LOL. It's an area I need to improve on at this stage of life. Pizza on paper plates sounds good to me. I love pizza, homemade, take-out, whatever.
I'm contending with a very irritating computer issue. I was trying to help my great niece, Nova, with a college essay assignment and did some research into her topic on my laptop. Now I'm getting a Virus Alert popup that I know is a scam. I have taken several steps to remove the invasive popup but it is still occurring, though less often. I will probably have to disconnect from the internet, put my laptop in Safe Mode and do a full scan. Thank you, Mr. Google. Or Mrs. Google.
Last night dh and I went to dinner with friends who have been travel companions on three big trips. The restaurant is elegant and has been in operation since the 1980's. We got a nice table, had great service, good food, all for, of course, an eye-popping price. Of course, restaurants are seeing a big increase in their food prices, too, and their employees need to earn a good living wage. Still, it's good that I like cooking and we don't need a big dining out allotment in our budget.
Petite, I would love to see a photo of your mountain cabin if you should ever feel comfortable posting one.
I am close to completing my jigsaw puzzle.
