@intolight - I so feel for you re having to have that drip on your birthday 🎂! I try not to schedule medical stuff around my birthday or holidays, but sometimes it just can't be helped. I agree that a nice lunch beforehand will help a lot. Also, very interesting and odd about the snow situation. I hope you finally get some.

I finished the jig saw puzzle today! Yay! I'll admire it for a day and then then take it apart to give to someone. I'll tape the box and write on it that all pieces are inside.

What I know now is that we're all interconnected and that's a really beautiful thing. We have links to everyone else in our lives and in the world. Different people have different journeys for different reasons. You can't judge, but you can celebrate that there are connections everywhere.

@irishlove In your pocket for your barium swallow tomorrow. Hope all they see is a beautiful open flowing esophagus! Guess your gonna have to go out and do your rain dance to help the drought situation lol, always something. Hopefully mother nature will get on it for you !

@intolight Hoping you get some snow soon and a Happy Birthday.
I did prepare a breakfast with broken up ramen noodles, I did boil it in water and put the entire seasoning in with the water so it would not taste super salty. Took my frozen sliced peppers, microwaved 3 mins to get rid of a lot of the water content. Pulled out the air fryer next. I still am not fond of hot dogs so took one hotdog and pulverized it in my spice grinder, got to say it left almost nothing put puffy stuff, added all ingredients into the air fryer and heated for 5 mins at a time,, stirred with a spoon and when done, put in a bowl. Added the squeezable queso and another dollop of sour cream and lime. Was more measured in the dry seasoning by just adding some to my hand, added white cheddar, dash of salt, dash of sour cream and onion dry seasoning . It all came together well, was concerned could cause digestive stuff so took 2 immodiums and my usual enzymes. It was pretty delicious I must say. Not a ton of protein, just one hotdog in there which was really undetectable the way I chopped the hotdog.
I have so much canned stuff and refrigerator stuff, it is nuts. Working on eating through my pantry and fridge first.

If I could suggest anything for helping someone going through chemo, I kept dry crackers, water and ensure at my bedside for sick days. I could not do the treatment on just compazine, it had to be Zofran for nausea. Every single side effect must be pretreated. If you let the side effects occur its too late. I showered frequently because of rashes, diarrhea. Keep eye on shortness of breath it might be from low hemoglobin. Becareful with fluid balance. Heart and kidneys need a balance. I am not a doctor or able to give medical advice but on your first treatment there is a lot of cell death and your body will want to expell it. And last to be supportive to anyone getting chemo never underestimate what the person is feeling. My sick days were about the 4th day after chemo and when it hit it was very hard. Basic bland food is the best with low odors. Also the perfume you wore before chemo you will not like during chemo and after you are done with chemo you will like again so don't throw away ..My biggest fear is treatment for reoccurrence.
