Re: Nervous about switch from Letrozole to Exemestane
still waiting to hear from BC Cancer pharmacy. I’ll call them on Monday if I don’t hear anything tomorrow. I was planning on starting them after my trip to the mainland which is this weekend. Short trip. Going to my 50th High School reunion. How time flies!!!!
Re: Can we have a forum for "older" people with bc?
Thanks for the comments on Regan. She is female and not named by us, or it would be more feminine. Those in the know, know she is a 5 year old rescue that we adopted just about 3 years ago. She is chomping at the bit because her latest episode of vomiting means she is on this GI restricted diet until tomorrow, so no treats. She has come a long way since we adopted her, but she still doesn't like other dogs, except those that she selects. She loves the cats though and since she lives with 2, that's a good thing.
I am packed except for a few last minute additions such as make-up case and hair care one. I tried to pack something for the warmer days, the colder days, and the rainy days as well as one dressy outfit. I do have a couple of tops that can be dressed up if needed. Carry on bag still needs a few items added such as medications.
DS came down to help DH repair the panel under his car that was dragging as a result of him hitting a speed bump at a higher speed. It is in one of the local towns side streets to prevent speeds above 25 and he wasn't paying attention. We hit it hard. He was able to restore it to its original position using his car ramps.
It's a warm, but breezy day. Temp close to 80 and sunny. DH installed last stake for fence around Japanese Maple and has temporary fencing around it. He needs to plant grass seed in bare areas and wants to take his time attaching fencing. He will need help, he's just too stubborn to admit it.
My back is still in spasm in spite of Tizanidine last night and Lidocaine patch today. I did 2 loads of laundry and ironed some clothing from yesterday's laundry. Remade bed, and all clothing put away. Waiting for Fitbit to charge so I can pack chargers for phone and it.
Rug picked up by guys from the cleaners today and I ordered a Shark Rocket stick vacuum from Boscov's. I was using my DSIL's yesterday and liked it. It will replace the old one we had upstairs that I can no longer use; only DH can manage it and he doesn't really like to vacuum. It can be picked up today, so DSIL will swing by to get it. They live close to the store.
They will come here tonight so we can leave by 6 AM tomorrow for out 9 AM flight to Seattle. We will get in around noon there but considering it was a 6 hour flight and early rising I will be tired. DD wants to go to Pike Place Market so I will go with her once we settle in the hotel.
Today will be the last day I can post the daily quote until I return. With no internet access on the ship due to cost, I won't be posting either. Sorry you won't be subjected to my lengthy gab sessions. Hope everyone has a great day and days while I am gone. Waving hello/goodbye to everyone.
