Mine is still not in the normal range almost 5 years after chemo. I've read that low WBCs is also a side effect of Letrozole, so I'm not confident they will increase until I'm off of it. That said, it doesn't seem to effect me at all (I'm 53 and very healthy)

Goldens~did I read your brother has passed? I am dearly sorry. I can even imagine. When my sister got cancer also. I got so afraid, both of our parents are gone.

@tanya_djamila I hope you are relaxing today in your home and thinking of the fun time you had in your trip to Japan. It must have been wonderful. and also a relief to get home, kick off your shoes, get your comfy cloths on and relax in your own bed. I love the Japanese culture, everything about them. they are mild and very kind and respectful of each other, very precise in their hand made creations and cooking which is an art.
@mara51506 You must have really needed the rest after falling asleep on the couch till 6AM and then getting more sleep in after waking. I have no doubt you will be back to being the little energizer bunny around the house😊

@AJ I haven’t heard the name of this test before either.. I did a genetic blood test at the beginning of all this mess but I don’t know what they called it or if it was the same. I’m sorry I’m absolutely no help but I’m sure someone on here will answer soon who does know. Hope you have a good weekend.

I actually haven’t done this test before, and I haven’t heard of it — although my oncologist did run some genetic tests to look for any mutations, since I’m in a similar situation as you, with a persistent rise in CA 15-3.
I’ll ask my doctor about it at my next visit next week to see if it’s suitable for me and what its purpose is.
And update you if i get any information
May I ask how high your CA 15-3 level has reached?
