Re: So...whats for dinner?
Minus, same here. We were able to go but didn't catch anything. Still, just grateful to have my DH on the beach with me! It was a gorgeous 66, some clouds, light wind. Perfect for a first day and in July.
Had leftover rockfish for early dinner before we left.
I miss having an Aldi's.
Re: So...whats for dinner?
Dinner tonight was finally the Annie Chun's Yakisoba that's been sitting on my counter all week. Really pretty good.
Maggie - I've only been to Aldi twice since there isn't one anywhere close to me. I'll have to check it out. Your chicken sounds delicious.
Wally - looking forward to your fishing results. For me - fishing is a wonderful day even if I don't catch anything.
Re: Have to make a radiation decision
I am 72 and had 20 radiation treatments to my left breast. I can have no more. I am taking anastrozole.
The radiation treatments were no problem for me. The anastrozole has been harder.
We are both close to average life age. My choice was to have all treatments.
I have bone issues, but no new bone loose.
Water fitness has helped mentally and physically. Diet has also improved. I did contact a cancer diet specialist.
I do think diet and fitness helped my SEs.
Re: I say YES. YOU say NO....Numero Tre! Enjoy!
I can't imagine that any previously undecided voter would have been persuaded to vote for Trump based on anything that has happened recently.
As for the Republicans, they have lost their fricklng minds. If you ever see me wearing a mini-pad on my ear, please knock my head against the wall!
As for the Democrats, I don't care who they choose; but they do need to get their act together!

Thanks, mavericksmom ,
I don’t see pragmatism and a cold hard stare at what’s going on with Biden and the upcoming election as anything but reality. An ugly reality but a reality none the less. I believe having a positive attitude is very helpful in life, but not mandatory at all times and for me, that’s the reality of these times. I hope more than anything that I’m wrong!

@ebfitzy Your daughter is adorable 😍 I CANNOT imagine taking care of three young kids during this treatment!! Mine are 21 and 25, so I’m just taking care of myself mostly. You should get some serious credit in your house for dealing with motherhood and cancer at the same time. Motherhood nearly did me in itself (no cancer treatment needed!). Women are sooooo much tougher and stronger than men, and your story proves it! Hang in there mama! ❤️🙏
