Re: 6 Month Follow Up
Hi @carolinagirl74 and welcome to our Community.
We're so very sorry for the worries that bring you here, but we're really glad you've joined us and decided to post. You're sure to find great compassion and empathy here while you figure out what's going on — we're all here for you!
We know it can be overwhelming and nerve-wracking waiting for a follow up screening — try to keep your mind occupied while you wait for your appointment and remain positive. We know this is easier said than done. Others will surely chime in with good advice for passing the time and easing anxiety. Perhaps exercise or sitting down with a good book or catching up on a phone call with an old friend would help your nerves?
We're thinking of you! Please keep us posted on how your appointment goes and know we're here no matter the results.

Re: Can we have a forum for "older" people with bc?
Our dilemma is that we hate change and love it at the same time; what we really want is for things to remain the same but get better.
Re: So...whats for dinner?
On Friday I filed my blue USA passport renewal application, which invalidates my old one automatically….and a US government shutdown over a budget fight looms. sigh.
Hi Moon!!!! It's been a long time…post when you can.
Carole, my aunt told me that after age 80, birthdays come twice a year, and after age 90, they arrive thrice a year. :-)
Beef prices are high. We do have a slaughter house that also butchers the meat into manageable portions that are slightly less expensive than the stores. However, "manageable" means "need a large freezer" or "having 20 people over for dinner".
Re: So...whats for dinner?
Maggie, your meal at the Italian restaurant is causing me food envy!
I had the walleye dinner at Clancy's last night. I also had a lovely and refreshing Cosmo.
The walleye wasn't the fresh fillet I envisioned, but the baked potato was a real baked potato and the blue cheese dressing on the salad bar is delicious. Most important the company was good.
Re: So...whats for dinner?
Lunch today was poached egg on lobster and asparagus with hollandaise sauce outside at a good Italian restaurant. Dinner was leftover pizza.
