Today, another group, “Republicans for Harris” is making news.
I don’t see Liz Cheney listed; I will be curious if she weighs in somewhere, sometime regarding Harris and if she endorses her or what. But hoping this group changes more Republican votes to Democrat.

@mkestrel moith sores were rough for a few months along with a root canal. I like the salt mouthwash with the prescription mouthwash. Also I was prescribed ibuprofen for swelling and I think the combination along with amoxicillin finally reduced the angry mouth. My onc took me off treatment for a few extra days too and I’m not looking forward to resuming bc I’m thinking of sores coming back
candy I found out that every message I send to my doctor via my patient portal becomes part of my permanent patient record. So if you don’t want to directly confront that’s a way to get it in.

Nice to hear from you @shanagirl and I am so happy that you are continuing with great success on Verzenio. I didn't have the same luck and next week will be starting Truqap. More nasty side effects but I am a professional Imodium-taker now after dealing with D on Verzenio.

Irish, hope DH recovers soon and goes for xray, hoping you and can get some meds and advice on your spine, mobility etc. In you pocket. Though I may wish to see DB, I generally don't feel lonely, never been a real social butterfly. Most friends are either virtual like here or on my Facebook groups or people I have worked with at Home Depot or the call centre downtown. I do not mind. I am unworried about DB and SIL, I know they will call.
Cookie, I do feel better, adding more lentils and beans, just keep forgetting to use them. A lot of food choices here.
Goldens in your pocket for the trip home to be shorter. Enjoy the visit.

Candy You have some good suggestions here to keep social interactions .Here is a good site I suggested to my son. I have seen several online groups on here. Agree with getting the medical history corrected. Yep everything is a template now and they add a little here and there.
Irish Hope you are spared the wrath of Debby. I sure hope DH gets himself a Chest xray to be safe. These men can be so stubborn…annoying! Your just trying to avoid him landing in the hospital. Sya safe.

I'm stunned hearing about Puffin. Lately, my computer doesn't seem to want to open on the newest entry so I had to go back to find Carole's post. Grrr. I so hope it is something highly 'fixable' and that Puffin will soon be home again.
Taco, here's hoping that you are able to build back your strength and resilience. Sounds okay at the moment but I can imagine the angst of having the 'lapse' while trying to get comfy in your own surroundings after discharge and being too weak to even get into your house. Thank goodness for Fire Depts. and their ability to help in all sorts of odd situations. Hats off.
Betrayal, wishing you well on your driving excursion. After a fair length of time a bit of apprehension is probably a good safety measure. Still, it is likely if your PT thinks you are ready you probably are. It felt odd and a bit strange to me when I re-started my driving after not doing so for some time, but I soon found my confidence slowly returning to be as 'healthy' as before. I think you concentrate in a different fashion for a while after re-starting something important like driving.
Your food excursions sound fantastic. Being on restrictive diet when I 'loved' food and trying new recipes I have to get vicarious now. It is sort of sad when a GREAT restaurant changes hands or scales back (cost cutting measure maybe?) their menu. It happens everywhere, and I do think Covid especially created a lot of hardships.
Cindy, love the pictures. I would love being on the boat. Shame on me though. I always feel sorry for the fish that are caught who were swimming around minding their own business. It is silly I know. It's the same reason I could never enjoy being on a farm where animal food is being 'raised'. Like most people, I don't have much trouble buying anything from the meat case at the store, but if I have to see whatever it is that I'm buying alive first I don't think I could. I often won't even kill a spider. Hate to say it, but most of my cats get spiders and or other creatures that accidentally find their way into the house — and I don't have to KILL anything that way. Don't know just when I got this way.
You did a great thing reserving the house you used this yr. It sounds like a winner for sure.

Thanks micmel and mara for tips about rinses. I'm losing my sense of taste. I couldn't taste my strawberry rhubarb pie and ice cream just now. Just tasted mushy and cold. I'll try to put up with this through next scans but I'm not sure I can put up with this very long.
About doctor's notes, it seems they use templates that are just edited if something is abnormal. I don't think my records are very accurate either. Notes don't always record what I remember saying. They mess up the rib numbers on my mets rads reports. It's really aggravating to me because I worked as a medical transcriptionist and had to get everything perfect. I was expected to catch and report discrepancies. Now they just use auto templates and speech recognition, leave all the errors and put a disclaimer at the end. If you see errors, you can ask for it to be corrected.
