@snow-drop You are so positive and uplifting. I appreciate you! But I am sorry you are struggling with gut issues, neck pain, and insomnia, etc. Sending prayers your MO can find you some relief for at least some of this.

I have been plugging along with not a lot of change. I am in a "cleaning" mood which doesn't happen often, and since I can only last about 15 minutes, I am limited. But I ordered some better drawer organizers for my kitchen to see if I can get a handle on the chaos. With three of us using the kitchen things get out of hand quickly. Hopefully this will help. Now to convince everyone to use the right drawer! (The drawback of a large kitchen.) The others are not good at cleaning so I will try to keep the crumbs out as much as possible. I don't like to nag so I just do it as long as I am able.

I just got back from Boston and an incredible photoshoot with the STILL Project. (I got to wear a $5K necklace that was little more than beads sewn onto felt. It was pretty, but not $5K worth of pretty.) It was an amazing experience, and I'm so excited to help increase the visibility and acceptability of aesthetic flat closure. The production crew were so together, and the energy of the whole day was thrilling.

Wow, CBL, Dr G is a real "keeper"! And he didn't even fuss over the pneumonitis you were worried about for future trials - - isn't it great when someone can take a burden off your shoulders over things like that!!
Talzenna works differently than the other PARPi and is like 100x -1,000x better than the other PARPi at trapping PARPs at the site of DNA damage, which likely contributes to its much stronger potency, hope you go a long time on this treatment!!!

Hi Everyone, I’m new to this thread. I really need to walk/exercise but can’t get motivated. I’m at the point where my therapist is telling me it would be a victory for me to get my shoes on in the morning! I have always loved walking but need to be motivated to get off my behind. I feel like I’ve made progress—at least I want to do it now.
I use a cane for getting around in general and have walking poles for “going for a walk.” They help. Lately, I have balance and neuropathy issues, as well as hand/foot syndrome from xeloda.
@mara51506 Can you go a little more into your thermoregulation issues? I definitely overheat and can magically sweat sitting in a freezer. It started just before I was diagnosed. I have read that the liver has a lot to do with heat regulation, and I do have mets to my liver. Have you found anything that helps? Not only is it uncomfortable, it’s embarrassing!

Chicagoan you’re in my mind this morning. I hope they figure out this 4cm issue. I’ll tell you it’s always something. Good thing was my son got to go on a Caribbean cruise for his longest friend in his life. They all went to the Bahamas and they married on the island. He was one of the groomsmen and My son had a blast he had such a good time and. It was the first good thing to celebrate in a while he got back safely and hopefully met someone. Send prayers please he’s so picky. He was in a lovely white sand beach with blue sky’s. And clear water. I’ve been able to travel to Bermuda ,Hawaii ,and I’ve seen that tropical water and I’m so glad he got to as well. I hope everyone gets to feel that way at some point in life.

@intolight Yes, I feel happy my treadmill is back, DB and SIL cleaned it up nicely. Still planning smaller sessions like a song, take a break and increase the number of sessions. Being on it also encourages me to do more and increase exercise. Need to do more armwork with my bed ladder, pulls my body upright from laying down. That will help with putting the track back up into folded position, that was tough for me.
I also have the treadmill pulled down as well and can shoose to walk for a couple minutes only too. I also have swapped shoes for my sneakers, don't find the running shoes overly comfortable. Be quicker to get in and out of them too.
