Re: Can we have a forum for "older" people with bc?
It may easily come to pass that a vain man may become proud and imagine himself pleasing to all when he is in reality a universal nuisance.
Re: I WANT MY MOJO BACK!
My oncologist is fine with vaginal estradoil. I've been using with for several years. It does not circulate through the blood stream.
Re: Pinktober Revolution
"But herein lies the rub: could the dominant trope of pink be turning off men from presenting to their primary physician and, therefore, reaching a later diagnosis and a poorer prognosis?
And, is not the whole pink avalanche giving men embarrassment upon learning they have breast cancer? Why else would so few men come out after receiving a diagnosis? I've suggested several pink charities introduce a small patch of blue in their campaigns to signify men—no luck to date."
Re: I say YES. YOU say NO....Numero Tre! Enjoy!
Yes, it does! I love 'History Vacations' so am really enjoying myself so far. We are going to the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center at Cape Disappointment State Park this afternoon. It's on the cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean, so should have stunning views.

There was just an article in the Philadelphia Inquirer about a fashion show just sponsored by Dana Donofree who developed BC at age 27. She founded the undergarment company AnaOno which makes undergarments for women recovering from BC. One of the models was dx at age 27, had a double mastectomy with reconstruction and was 8 months pregnant with her second son. The impetus for starting the company was her inability to find a bra that fit her post-operative breast.
Are you familiar with the company, miriandra? Serms like you are kindred spirits.
