Sometimes focal asymmetry is caused by dense tissue that gets layered when the breast is compressed. That was probably the case since nothing was found on the ultrasound. Because of the callback it seems that this time they were careful about positioning your breast and took extra views to make sure all was well. Congratulations on the clear mammogram!

Good Morning, Loungettes! Happy Hump Day! Tomorrow Mom and I go to look at the apartment that is open in the facility she wants to be in. I am so hoping she'll be able to get it, but trying not to get my hopes up. At the same time I’m dreading the process moving her will be. She wants to keep everything, but won't have room for it all, and doesn't need it all (especially the must be near 100 plastic tub lids she has piled up in one corner of the kitchen counter) and will want to sell what she does decide to not take with her, but very few things are actually worth trying to sell. So I'm trying not to think about that part, too. And the trip to North Caroline is in a couple of weeks, getting Mom packed for that is going to be a real challenge. I think I 'm going to have to start sneaking clothes out of her place and packing them in my suitcase, or they'll never get washed and packed. Either that or do all her packing the day before. I'm staying at her place after dropping the puppers off at the kennel as we have to be at the airport by 4 ayem.

Celebration Royale Cocktail
Ingredients
- 3 oz champagne or sparkling wine
- 1 oz orange liqueur (e.g., Cointreau or Grand Marnier)
- 1 oz fresh fruit purée (raspberry, strawberry, or mango)
- ½ oz fresh lemon juice
- Fresh berries or a citrus twist for garnish
- Ice (optional, for pre-chilling glass
Instructions
- Chill the glassware: Place a coupe or flute in the fridge for a few minutes, or fill it with ice water and let it sit while preparing the cocktail.
- Combine fruit purée and citrus: In a shaker, mix 1 oz of your chosen fruit purée with ½ oz fresh lemon juice and 1 oz orange liqueur. Shake gently to blend.
- Pour into glass: Strain the mixture into the chilled flute or coupe, avoiding seeds or pulp.
- Top with sparkling wine: Slowly pour 3 oz of champagne over the fruit mixture to create a gorgeously layered effect.
- Garnish and serve: Add a few fresh berries on a cocktail pick or float a thin citrus twist for a festive touch. Serve immediately while bubbly and fresh.

DH & I are on a cruise of the Columbia & Snake Rivers, so I am not keeping up with the news as much as usual. We did spend a day in 'war torn' Portland. Our country is being run by delusional lunatics.

I've been on Ibrance for almost 7 years. I've been stable-next scans are in October so we'll see.

@marcials1 I have never had Zometa as a shot… sorry if I mislead you somewhere. I have always had it as an infusion. The past three years I have had a port so they used that. Before I just had an I V.

I had my six-month Zometa shot today then we went out for lunch to our favorite local pub. I ate half of the hamburger and was too full to even finish the onion rings (yes, I splurged.) I always feel fine afterwards so this is what we do. Fortunately the nurse had no problem accessing mt port.

@jredfern2 Yes, I am currently being monitored by a periodontist. Before my ONJ was diagnosed, he tried to solve my tooth pain without extraction. Deep cleanings and a trip to the endodontist for a root canal. He finally had to take out the tooth and sent me to an oral surgeon. So far, I have not had any treatments other than regular cleanings. I hope your appointment goes well!

@goldensrbest You are totally right. The line she fed me was that older DB is stressed out worrying about me and my condition, falling etc. I call BS because neither of them call me on a regular basis. Don't expect long convo, a checkin call would be fine if they are worried. Either way, I am going my way, their opinions are their own and none of my business, got to just look after myself. Have not got the hang of everyday exercise routines, but working toward them for sure. Now I know not to talk about politics going on in Canada, tv shows, food and now anything medical is off the table or SIL is pissed that I do not take their advice if I don't agree with it. Oh well, promise I am feeling better than yesterday about things, telling myself that nobody deserves a place in my mind to stress or feel bad about. Enjoy the free instant pot and free food found in hallway. Definitely had to be an apartment cleanout. On the rare occasion I happen upon a box outside, I do bring it inside so people cannot easily steal them if they sit outside.
