Thank you all for the well wishes and pocket duty for my scans yesterday. The CT came back today on my chart. All organs are normal, even my lungs are clear. Liver kidneys, spleen pancreas all normal. The only Impression was scattered stable scattered osseous metastases all stable.
So got through another scan without issue on the CT. Just waiting for the nuclear Medicine Bone Scan to show up on MY CHART.😉
went to PT and mentiond to them that my first day back on Friday, I must have done too much, So he lowered the amounts and reps and told me to stop if I was starting to hurt, which I did. the I got some good traction and massage with heat therapy and tenns electro therapy and so fari. I ‘ve been ok. 😌

@mara51506 Glad to hear steroids are almost finished and haven't been too disruptive. It's bitter cold here today but beautiful sunshine! Just been laying low doing some straightening up and organizing drawers. DH and I are going to brave the cold and go out to dinner tonight. I;ll got out for that to get a break from cooking lol.

Jazzy, your trip to the bird refuge sounds like an outing I would definitely enjoy. Mississippi has a sandhill crane refuge that dh and I visited one year when RV friends were working there. I love birds as much I love flowers.
Misty, one of my sisters and I collaborated to look after my mother. The other siblings did their part in different ways, one way by calling her frequently and making her feel a part of their lives. When my mother moved to a nursing home, my sister and I visited on alternate days through Saturday, and a brother went on Sunday to attend a church service with her. When she passed, it was a good feeling to know she had felt loved.

I think there might be something to it, but I agree that more solid evidence and support for this idea is definitely warranted before official acceptance.
I did read some kind of research study that was done a couple of years into the Covid thing (a university study, but I have no citation), that suggested "long Covid" at least, could "alter the tumor microenvironment" in such a way that it created more favorable conditions for breast cancer cells to do their thing. I consider this much different from saying that Covid or the vaccine "causes cancer"
I'm especially interested in this subject because I had Covid in May of '22, then lingered over the summer (long Covid?), and then progressed the following November, being diagnosed with now stage 4, the following January of '23.
Similarly, I had shingles last May, again lingered over the summer, and began to show progression (after 2.5 years of stability) last November. That progression has led to my having to start a new drug ( 2nd line of treatment) this month, i.e. in January.
I can't help note the similar patterns that occurred with these two viral infections. Again, I don't believe that the viruses, vaccines, or anti-virals cause cancer, but I am very open to the idea that when we get certain viruses, having to deal with them may well create more favorable conditions for tumors to grow and progress. Maybe it's just from a weakened immune system, but maybe something else? I think this issue is really worth studying.
