@birdsndognow What a beautiful walking stick.
I am back to pickleball. The first week was rough-I was so sore after just playing about 4 games but now it has been almost a month and I feel like I am getting back in shape. I've also been going to the gym to lift weights and ride the stationary bike. It's been very cold here so I haven't been doing too much walking.

I’m so sorry you are going thru this. I went off the affinator a few times for various reasons, and didn’t see any changes in markers or disease progression. I hope this is the same for you.
How frustrating not to be able to find the dose you need. I was on the 10mg the whole year I was taking it.
Good luck - hope those liver enzymes snap back.

Not familiar with the Norwegian walking pole, but I am presently using a "walking stick" daily! It's a great help! I got this decades ago at a Native American Pow Wow that my husband and I would attend yearly in or around Baltimore.I've gotten so many compliments and questions on it.... my SonIL teases me about it on outings and all but it's used constantly more now than when I first bought it for dog hiking, bird watching jaunts, etc.
I am really outta shape, thanks for the info about exercise instructions for those with cancer, going to check it out! ~Wanda

We turned the heat on about 1AM last night/morning. The house is full of tile and it holds the cold. I think it’s the third time in 10 years that we’ve put heat on. It’s usually because guests are cold, first time for us.

Hi @concerned1965, A diagnostic mammogram/ultrasound is only called for by a radiologist when a mammogram is BIRADS 4 or 5, suspicious for malignancy. Indeterminate asymmetry is usually classified as BIRADS 3 with a 6 month follow-up recommended. If you visit your doctor and she decides to order a diagnostic mammogram based on your family history you can have the more detailed imaging done sooner.
The extra appointment seems to be required by insurance companies. My neurologist referred me to a neurosurgeon and ordered a MRI. She told me she would see me after the second opinion but I got a phone call from her office telling me I had to have an appointment to discuss the imaging results. When I questioned this I was told it was an insurance requirement to follow up with the doctor placing the order even though the MRI will be evaluated by the neurosurgeon,
While having diagnostic imaging done more quickly would give you peace of mind you will have an answer sooner than the usual 6 months, BIRADS 3 means there is a less than 2% chance of cancer so you are most likely fine to wait a bit. I hope your results are benign.

Cindy - good luck with the implant tomorrow! I had hoped the warmer weather would come our way but instead it appears you are getting some of our cold weather in FL. Fingers crossed for you that the heat stays on in NY and there are no burst pipes. Stay warm.

Temps here have dropped, no 86, high today was 63. We took a walk at 2:30 and it was only 57. Normally walking that late in the afternoon is a no no. When I sat in the sun reading a book I felt toasty, just stay out of the shade. Overnight tonight a low of 36.
Carole, I’ve got my fingers crossed too - for the furnace in NY! Nite time temps there are all negative numbers, adding to fear of pipes freezing. I’ve turned the heat up.
Betrayal, a second storm is heading to NY too. The weatherman said there are 3 possibilities: direct hit, glancing blow, or no snow. You can guess which one we’re hoping for! Hope you fare well.
Harley, that’s good news to hear from your MO. Hoping your DH doesn’t have kidney disease. Planning your upcoming excursions while in Vietnam will be enjoyable.
I go to the oral surgeon for the implant tomorrow at 1. It’s about an hour away, so I’ll take the Xanax as we leave the house.
I just saw the forecast for the upcoming weekend here in SWFL. Cold rain on Saturday high of 63; Sunday a high of 53. It might break records for the low, projected 29-30, for the past 16 years! I’ll be putting heat on here, ugh, below freezing.

@mara51506 - Joining with everyone else to offer my sympathies re your news not being optimal. While perhaps not optimal it's not unhopeful, and I think your plan to monitor; watch and wait, etc. is best. You can cross all those bridges about whether to have surgery, if and when the issue actually presents itself. You're a sensible person and I'm sure you know what's right for you, and that's a really good thing. Sending lots of positive thoughts and hugs 🤗.
