Mine was multifocal, with the second one found by accident. My onc didn't think that added to my risk. My nodes were clear. Since I had the umx, I didn't need radiation. Chemo was never in the picture. I'm on anastrasole now.

Hey, diagnosed at 43 years old - 5-1/2 years ago. Stage IIB, 7 of 11 nodes positive. Doing great!

@scgal08 Yes, I have my MO on Thursday the only appt I had to reschedule was Neuro Opthamologist . Thank God the eye has been fine since my appt is mid November. End of Oct and Nov is busy with appts and scans sometimes it seems to cluster together. MY mil lived in a 55 and over community in a mid size rancher so we are all working on cleanout. Blessed to be in a close family and we all pitch in. Sad times for sure as she was the last of our parents to pass. So we push forward and cherish all of our cherished memories. Any plans this week for you?

@threetree Sorry you have been feeling crappy lately with the fulvestrant shot. Hmm I hope it's not something that gets worse over time as you heard. Hope your Np visit goes smoothly and you're feeling better.
@intolight Hope you're starting to feel better too…ugh tis the season I guess. I have flu shot scheduled for this Friday.
@mara51506 Happy belated Thanksgiving. I agree with you regarding DB , if he's so stressed and worried then why not check in more often. A text or a call go a long way in my book sometimes I just don't understand people. It's crazy to me sometimes that so many family members don't even ask how I'm doing. I think they judge the book by the cover and feel like I'm just doing wonderful everyday lol. Oh that Tigger cracks me up with taking over his nap spot on your treadmill. Ugh sorry you had a rough MR with vomiting, that's the worst. Hope next time it's a better experience. In your pockets and fingers crossed for good results.
@irishlove Im so sorry to hear of your ER visit and feel like crap lately! I wish you can come up for air for more than a week or two without having some issue. I just continue to pray for everyone here since I can't lend support in person only virtual. In your pocket too for visit tomorrow , feel better.

Been busy with my mil's house etc, the only good thing it diverts my thoughts away from cancer. MO this week, flu shot Friday hope there's no SE from that. It's my busier time of year appts in Oct-Nov some of my follow ups and scans happen around the same time in the Fall. I will get them out of the way before the holidays. Ugh don't even want to say the H word aloud, stores already decorated…grrrr.
Well thinking of all here, daily prays for strength and healing your way❣️

I’m new here and freaking out today. I’m stage 2b, finished 4 rounds of AC and 4 taxol. Had a lumpectomy and axillary dissection. Tumor shrunk fro 2.2 cm to 8mm, but had 3/7 positive lymph nodes...2 macro, 1 micro. I thought chemo would have taken care of the lymph nodes. Still have 2 weeks until I see my onco and am on pins and needles. Anyone else have positive lymph nodes after chemo? If so, what was you’re treatment

recurrence with pleural effusion

Hello to all.
It's been confirmed to me yesterday that the breast cancer first found in 2019 has caused a large pleural effusion in my right lung that's been developing over the last four months.Can't say I'm surprised, but will speak more of it in the Metastatic Breast Cancer ONLY forum group.
I will be joining the Monday afternoon or Tuesday night support meet-ups also.

Cod is DH's favorite. Most recently I fixed it the same way as the catfish — lightly breaded in Louisiana fish fry and pan fried. I like it baked or broiled with a lemon butter sauce similar to what you would make for piccata
Tonight is a belated birthday dinner out with friends at DH's favorite Italian restaurant. Her will have rigatoni with sausage and I will have linguini con pesce. It's always the same lol.

Last night's dinner was a "meh" meal for me. Bony shoulder pork chops, breaded and cooked in the oven. Baked sweet potatoes. The pork chops were overcooked. The condiment was canned cranberry sauce with berries.
I was on the verge of buying a salmon fillet yesterday. Instead I bought cod. DH always says he likes cod. Now I have to come up with the cooking method/recipe. Suggestions welcome.
I stepped on the wicked bathroom scale this morning and was surprised and pleased.
