@candy-678 I am so happy to hear the news.
I slept well last night. Did not go anywhere or hear from DB at all for going out purposes. I do not need groceries at this time anyway. I chickened out on going to pharmacy myself so not keep the walker, a cane is fine in most instances. If I was stuck taking the bus when Paratransit too busy, I could walk to the bus stop. It is funny though, I have a lot of free rides on PT, was checking my card and I have 6 rides credited. Not sure why but I do not mind.
On the agenda today, a massive amount of laundry to get done, running out of cloths. May use up ALL washers and do everything at once, doubtful that it would overpower the power set up myself. I have soaking dishes, a litter area to clean out. I have stopped using the litter genie because I really believe the black bugs, tiny little bastards came from the bag IN the litter genie. Planning to dump all litter and give area a thorough cleaning and long overdue vacuum. I have never had so many all at once, it is crazy until I got the litter genie. Clean out all sinks and pour hot water on the daily. My traps catch a lot of them at least but obviously an on going problem. I am aware they could be coming from another apartment through the shared plumbing, that is a possibility so plugs are put in all the time.
Not sure on food, probably have one of the queso pasta bowls I bought, has a lot of good chicken. Later, heat up some eggs and regular beans in a mini griddle and make up an egg in there. If I do not want that, microwave egg and beans, chop up with cheese and chips for flavour and throw mix in frying pan.
I am presently waiting on prescription I failed to get yesterday, it is coming, going to wait for it before pulling down treadmill to use it. Tigger will be mad but too bad. He is on it on the daily. Loves it, I put a blanky up there for him. Ava has taken the bathroom now, either sitting in window sill or on toilet lid.

Just an update from here (concerning my questionable area seen on the mammogram- look back at my previous posts):
Screening mammogram showed something something. Had spot compression views and then ultrasound. Dense breast tissue and nothing else bad seen. To have another mammogram in 6 months as a follow up.

Sorry you're still in the hospital. Yes, I stopped Kisqali during the one week dosepack.
On a related topic, I have been dealing with diverticulitis since June, 2025. The emergency room doctor prescribed augmentin, which seemed to help initially, but then it reoccurred a few weeks later and the gastro doc prescribed augmentin again. Both times I stopped Kisqali. Diverticulitis started again on 10/12, more augmentin prescribed. I contacted my MO and she said that I could continue on Kisqali. Hoping something works, as the pain is pretty severe.

I am 50 in March and so happy to see I'm not alone on the island!
I did the surgery.....that's it I'm out.
The chemicals in the chemo are GOING to cause other problems down the road.....this isn't a maybe. The MO said it would have a 1.6% chance of stopping death from BC in 10 years (doesn't say it won't reoccur btw), but it has a chance of creating leukaemia!!!!! I will take my chances....
The tamoxifen is my last decision. I originally thought I would take it, almost everyone I know who could take it did. I started reading and I can honestly say it was really disturbing! The origin of the drug, one particular study to validate it, the fact that it is a carcinogen on the WHO and cancer sites, the possible side effects which can be beyond serious in my eyes, and the fact that it can still come back after all that(and stronger), I can't do it.
Now I was stage 2A (3cm no lymph nodes involved), another area was 1.4cm. Was multi centric in the right breast, something unknown in left, 3 aunts with BC, I chose a bilateral mastectomy. Turns out I also had Pagets on the right, so good choice!
My plan is diet, exercise, supplements, emotional and spiritual well being. It was always about everyone and everything else for me, now this will change. BC was my wake up callto treat myself better.
There is an abundance of information out there, choose wisely (from reputable sources), read and think outside the box a bit (recognize full hippie fanatic vs pharma front man and anyone who receives bonus payment for the kind of treatment they recommend)
Do what you can live with. It's a hard decision, I am trying to come to terms with mine......
Yet don't want to upset MO lol how silly!!!!

I haven’t been keeping up with my post but checked today and saw yours. I ended up having a bilateral mastectomy in July, no reconstruction. Pathology findings were IDC grade 2, right axilla lymph node positive for metastatic carcinoma. Left breast had minor findings of DCIS, so very thankful we did the bilateral. I finished 6 weeks of radiation and have just now started on Kasqali and Anastrozole along with a monthly injection of Goserelin. Sending you all the best vibes as you navigate this next part of your journey.

Wally, It’s too bad the saw arrived at the same time as your DH’s fatigue. Hopefully your eyes will recover from dilation quickly so you can attend the dedication.
Nance, Enjoy the Italian dinner. When you find a dish you really enjoy there’s no need to order anything else.
Eric, A gravel truck that was supposed to slowly spread new stone along our driveway in MD miscalculated the height of a wire and just dumped the load of gravel. DH had already moved to Canada so I had to spread it all. Afterwards people driving by would ring the doorbell and ask who had done our driveway. I told them but let the know I was not for hire. It was hard work.
Dinner tonight was pot roast, butternut squash and mashed potatoes.

This morning I was chilling out on the couch talking to a gf in Illinois, when another call came in. I didn’t recognize it but took the call. Good thing I did because it was the couch repair guy saying he’d be here in 15 minutes. It was just 10 AM; appointment was 12-1:30. I told him I had to get dressed! It’s a good thing I shower at night. Wash face, brush teeth, run a brush through my hair & hit my eye lashes with mascara. And threw on clothes.
It took him less than 5 minutes. He didn’t have the full part to replace but thought he had the cover plate in the truck. Sure enough he did, and it snapped on in seconds.
I also ran to pick up our ceramic pieces after picking up my grandniece from school. We’ll, let’s just say my pieces look like a kid under 10 did them. We laughed! For what they cost me, I could have hired a professional to paint them; or bought them for $10 or less at a craft fair. The lady who wrapped them said the smaller pieces are harder, because you’re trying not to get the colors mixed. I say that was her being polite.
Gf dh had a cardiac catheter procedure today. No blockages were found and no stents required. They were told it could be at the end of next week, even Friday, before his procedure in NYC will take place; and that he’d most likely be there for at least 4 days. I may stop over tomorrow with a deck of cards see if we can waste some time playing a game of rummy or just leaving them for him to play solitaire.
That’s it here. My sign for Saturdays rally is the same as I carried for the last rally. I put it on my stair landing because I didn’t know where to store it. HA! I see it every night as I go up to bed. Which is where I’m heading now. Nite!

I puttered in the house this morning. Then in the afternoon ran out for my hair cut. I like the cut but know I’ll like it more in a week or two. Between product being put in it, and not the same way I dry it, I’ll be good in another week.
This evening I went to a stamping class, to make fall cards. I was supposed to go with the gf whose husband is in the hospital, but that wasn’t happening. Instead my niece went with me, and she had such a good time she is signing up for the next 2 classes - while I’m in Florida. One piece they’ll be making is a shadow box, with sea glass used to make either a wreath, snowman, Christmas trees and I think martini glasses for “Cheers!” - each looked great.
Tomorrow we have a furniture repair guy coming. The new leather sofa has a cover plate missing from where reclining buttons are, and they can’t replace just the plate so the whole thing needs replacing. They’ve narrowed down their arrival time to 12-1:30.
Tomorrow is also when we can pick up our ceramics at the pottery place. I’ll grab my grandniece and maybe go out to eat. Lately she’s hooked on McDonald’s snack wraps. But maybe I can talk her into something else.
Weather doesn’t look too bad, just cooler as is to be expected. - cold and rainy doesn’t happen until Monday. So Sunday the game plan is to get the rest of the summer stuff put away - hoses, table, umbrella, etc.
