I’m enjoying the pictures and comments regarding knitting and crocheting. I used to crochet when I was much younger but that hobby fell by the wayside with raising a child and working. I’ve forgotten how to do it. I wonder if YouTube videos are available.
Betrayal - thanks for the suggestion about Viator. I’ll check if they are available in Vietnam. I’ve also had good experiences with Get Your Guide and Tours by Locals. I may also book day tours through the hotel.
Today’s temps were high 20’s and sunny so we went for a walk outside. There is still snow and ice in spots so we needed to be careful so we didn’t fall.

@intolight I will join everyone in hoping the very best from this new treatment and I hope the side effects aren't too overwhelming. I went through chemo at the beginning of my diagnosis and could tough it out ok. I wonder if any clinical trials might be available to you. There's a lot of wisdom in the clinical trials thread.

Thanks Pam, I may end up asking for Ativan but not sure how it works with my antidepressant. I've come to believe my severe insomnia (chronic for over 55 years) is aggravated not just by my nerve issues but also the anastrozole. Having weird bone pain too not just in the joint like with arthritis. Exercise is clearly in order for this.
I've been cleaning out the medicine cabinet of miscellaneous drugs for my nerve pain. I run it by my neighbor doctor. Pain isn't as severe anymore and now I switched to a muscle relaxant. Taking only every 2 or 3 days. Eventually I will need a script for insomnia and I can't take melatonin, benadryl or ambien. This is my 3rd time on an AI. I want it as long as is tolerable.
Sciatica has not usually been a problem for me till this pinched nerve. I regularly stretch the piriformis muscle. Good luck with that.

Finally got scan results after a week of waiting - still stable thanks be to God! Only significant finding was severe osteoarthritis of my left hip. I saw my ortho last week and he was surprised that I don’t have more pain but for now there is no need for a hip replacement.

Teka, I have a lace collection, mostly from antiques stores, a few from family. Had them in frames, but with moves, I took them out and sewed them to a piece of fabric for a wall-hanging. This is tatting, knitting, and bobbin, as well as the humble and particularly American crochet. For our longtimers, sorry for the repeat. But I cannot resist an opportunity to show off. And, no, I did none of these. We have enough from our grandmothers' generation.

Thanks for the video for the neuropathy. There were a few in there I can add to those from my therapist. Some a little more aggressive. I have seen a bit of improvement so I'll keep going. Yes, the strength and balance I'd like restored.
