Heartburn is a listed possible SE of anastrazole. Taking it with food and plenty of water as well as following a low acid diet might help. If your body does not adjust I wouldn’t rule out taking another drug to counter the acid reflux (advice from someone who almost didn’t survive an upper GI bleed.)

The rest of the story. Thursday I got a request from my daughter to go pick up two 8 week old kitten at the pet store because there were socialization issues. In the mean time, my husband is greeted by one of my daughters cats with a swollen foot. Our only option was an urgent care vet. We needed to reach our daughter. His foot was absessed they cleaned it and bandage. While my husband is dealing with this I am picking up 2 kitten. One appears under the weather. I notice she has a pot belly I found out today they missed there second dose if parasite meds. My best guess is roundworm. I treated her this morning here is hoping. The rescue has been notified and we are treating for parasites first. She is still active and eating. Things are finally settling down to a dull roar. Of course my daughter also returned today. I will keep the kittens until they go back to the store. I still need to get pictures of Jack and Chrissy. They are so cute.

@soldanella Thanks! Although the weather is now nice, I hate the thought of winter approaching. I hate driving in the ice and snow.
I worked so hard in my garden this past summer, but the critters and bugs fought against me. I was able to grow green and yellow beans though. And I traded them to my friend in exchange for zucchini and squash. I have been gardening all of my life and am the one who spends hundreds of dollars on potting soil, weed cover, anti-bug stuff, etc. But I only reap a few dollars worth of veggies. LOL.
So each year, I plan different things to fight against the garden pests.
I spend the day listing and trying to sell items on eBay and other sites. My grandson, who is now 13 (!!) has loaded me up with hundreds of his toys. We do consignment at 50-50 and he uses the money to buy shoes for basketball and football. I have been selling online for over 20 years and it keeps me very busy and helps to pay the bills.

@AJ My antacid is called "Alucol". "Alucol Gel helps neutralize excess stomach acid and reduce the backflow of gastric juice into the esophagus." It is a rather mild treatment without side effects and compatible with Xeloda.

Hi ladies it's been an exhausting week, my mil passed Thurs evening . Her children were able to be by her side and we gave her a peaceful sendoff. A weight has been lifted for sure and she is at peace. Will be another busy beginning to this week for services. Know that I continue to pray for all here daily.
@mara51506 Hope your enjoy your treadmill especially since the heat has crept back in ! We are also in the low 80's in NJ hope to get back to the chilly mornings and the 70 degree days. Glad your scan was good!
@seeq Oh that's great news for sure! Walking boot is progress and I hope it goes by quickly. Oh I hear ya on the high trucks, my hubby and son have full size trucks and I am 5'1'. Agree may be challenging for sure sounds like he needs to compromise.

Chris, great to have you back. My new orthotics so far haven’t cost me anything. I think Medicare covered it. I have a follow-up at the end of the month, I’ll post if I need to pay.
Petite, or errr Tiny… tee hee, I’m glad you’re enjoying the cabin. And it sounds like a lot of projects are happening soon too. We used our mini split as heat a few days ago. I closed off the kitchen to keep the heat in living/dining room. It was good, but I discovered I had a learning curve. I think if I put it on again, I’d turn on my ceiling fan and switch its direction to pull down the heat at the ceiling.
My “shrinkage” comes from compressed disks in my back. It’s 1/2” to 1” from their measurements at drs offices. I wanted to get my back looked at while I was in NY, but never got around to it

We took the screen house down today. We remarked on how easy it comes down vs goes up! We’re getting old. I’d love something I don’t have to take down. I’ve seen some prefab screened in cabana type things with a hard roof, that stay up in winter: $2-5k. Then I think to add in the installation costs, cement pad, building permit, and I’ll probably be putting this up until it falls apart, or I fall apart.
That was it for today. I showered as soon as I got in the house, covered in sweet & dirt.
Baseball has been on most of the day. I chose to catch up on shows that are recorded on my FL DVR. They store to the cloud and I can watch them on my phone. He’s happy, I’m happy too.

I was 5'2" and now I am 5'0". I was petite and now I am tiny. LOL
I am up at the cabin. I went to 2 vineyards today. I was buying gifts. I had a good time talking with people. I met an opera singer. She was very talkative. I guess she was enjoying the wine. I did get some gifts for my cat sitters. I didn't bring Midnight Louie. It will probably be in the Spring and we will stay for a longer period of time.
Sunday, my friend is coming over. We will probably get lunch and he wants to do some work on my deck.
Monday the fireplace guy is coming to check it out and teach me how to use it. It is gas.
I am hoping the heating and A/C guy will come out to give be an estimate. I want a mini split unit with heat & air. I was freezing this morning.

OK I'm going to post here and see what happens. Just experimenting with speech to text. Sort of clumsy but I think it'll work. Took me about 20 minutes of research before I discovered that I could actually do it with existing software on my laptop. Yeah my hand is hurting today. Betrayal, your trip to Lancaster had to be fun. Our Amish communities round here are much less developed than those in your area. Very little shopping to do other than their greenhouses there's also a store that I've never been to, but since I don't have a car, I only have my bike, I hardly ever have any chances to go down that way.
Cindy, your war against the runner grass as was entertaining to read. Glad you got it done but remember you'll need to work rework it next year. Things like that are invasive. I probably need new orthotics, too. I have to schedule a visit there when the next time I go to see the surgeon. I don't really wanna make two trips if I can put them both together.
I have no osteoporosis, and I am still 5 foot 7 ever since I quit growing. I easily fit most bicycles without much fiddling. Thankful for that.
My futon and rocker both have cushions that are removable. I have them covered with plastic and supplemental covers on top. I can easily take the covers off and wash them. Good because of Tippy. The lady that helps me with housekeeping put my other cover on the futon yesterday. She wrestled that futon around with the cover. That was a job that I couldn't have done that way. She does quite a bit of work for not very much. It's cash only because she has a hearing loss. She does a very good job. than for the rest of the week
It's 84 degrees right now then tomorrow will be another day with higher temperatures. Then for the rest of the week the temperature won't even break 70. It's going to be nice to start wearing my elastic waist pants. Most of my summer pants are button and zipper and that is a major hassle.
Anyway this is my longest post in the ages. Shall be posting regularly. I note that my style of dictating is a lot different from my style of writing. Anybody else notice that.
