Hi Buster! Apparently Mariah loves the water too! She goes to doggy day camp on Mondays and we are told that she’s the only one that goes in the pool🤣. We like the place because they also focus on fun training.
Mel - if I won the lottery, I would also have a place for homeless pooches. One can certainly dream….nice of you to share the toys with other dogs.
Shana - I love me a pig roast. The meat is so tender - yum. That party sounds like a blast.

Mel The bark box sounds adorable! When we rescued Buster, my friend sent a gift box from chewy. It was a campfire theme. It was adorable with all the treats and toys based on camping. Great idea to donate, so many animals need a good home.Theo has struck gold with your family and you have with him.

Hope you ladies are doing well. Had a fun day today with Theo. His bark box came today and he loves it when this box comes in the mail. He gets all excited and try’s to help me open the box for his toys. He got a toy called baby bark ribs and a dumpster fire , with little rodents to rescue from two holes. It’s absolutely adorable. The main toy was a fire hydrant that you hook up to a hose as it sprays water all over. DH and I both agree that theos too little and won’t really enjoy being wet. So we are going to donate it to the local Spca. They said they would use it in the fenced yard for all the dogs. She said they’d love it. So DH is going tomorrow to drop it off. Theo has like 30 toys or more , so it will make me happy to know dogs can use it. That dont live in nice air conditioned homes with toys galore. It was always my dream to strike it rich and be like Caesar Milan and have my own property with dog lodges and good homes for dogs until they can be housed in a forever home. I love dogs. Always have. I like cats too I’m just allergic. And so is DH. Hope everyone sleeps well tonight and have a good Sunday!

I have not really decide on short term financial plans or bucket list. I applaud you for that. I do want to start but with a house, and young kids, those are not easy. I did buy term life insurance as soon as I was asked to go in for a diagnostic mammogram. I refinance my house when the rates were super low 3 years ago and shorten the term. The house is our only debt right now. So if anything were to happen, beneficiaries on all accounts have been double checked and reviewed. I just need to list out step by step what my husband needs to do in case of anything as I am the financial person. Already made a list of online accounts, etc.
We have our own IRAs and 401Ks and an investment account that acts as the emergency fund. We are not "rich" or well off by any means,. By having all these items, I know what financial situation/snapshot we are at any giving moment. In the next few months, we will also start shopping for cemetery plots as those too go up in price. Then in the real near short term, really save and set aside for family trips to enjoy the moment. Make it all count.
It's never too late to plan financially and your last steps, regardless of your situation. I watched a youtube video the other day call living funeral. I think I like that concept. Something for me to think about.

So far the only se has been a headache which has worsen each day. My RO said it is either "pain flare" or an inflammatory reaction to the lesion dying. … not dangerous - just an indicator of response." Am alternating between tylenol and advil every 3 hours.
Follow-up MRI scheduled for mid October.

MM - what a great idea to go to the DMV right after the hairdresser. My driver’s license photo always looks like more of a mug shot. Glad to hear Kelce is earning his keep by being your personal trainer and kudos to you for walking him.
Cindy - happy to hear you are enjoying the nicer weather. We are having temps in the 70’s with low humidity and it’s been awesome. I spent the entire afternoon sitting in my backyard reading while watching my son float around the pool. DS is home for the weekend to visit with us and see some friends. Having a pool is an added draw to get him home. 😀

We are enjoying the cooler weather. Wednesday we went to see a friend who lives on a lake. Perfect weather for visiting on his deck and taking a boat ride. We brought the food and he supplied the drinks and fantastic lake views.

Gailmary - Glad to hear that your shots weren't too bad. Tired is one thing; increased aches and pains are another! None of it is any fun though, no matter what.
Your comments about fulvestrant are especially helpful, because if I remember correctly, you are on fulvestrant only and have been for many years. Since most of us take so many other drugs it is so hard to know just what drug is causing which side effects. I have a real hard time discerning what is from Verzenio and what is from Faslodex, as many of the side effects are similar and/or overlapping. Your experiences with Faslodex only really help me in my attempts to figure out what's what. And yes, the summer weather really seems to be throwing a wrench in the works too. I'm more tired and lethargic for sure. I'd just love to feel human again. Sending you a virtual hug and hopes that your extra tiredness goes away soon, because as you say, we can't give real hugs. This virtual business still beats not being able to get any support at all though. I never cease to be amazed that you have only been doing fulvestrant and it has been working for you for so many years. Here's to many, many more!
