@mara51506 I don't have any profound advice, just hugs. It sounds like you have a good handle on your emotions after the initial shock. I'm glad you cleared the air a bit with your SIL. I'll be hanging out in your pocket for awhile.

@eleanora - sorry about your progression/recurrence. I don't know anything adit bone mets. Have you discussed the results with your MO, yet?

@cookie54 - a May wedding sounds lovely. You have lots of time - I'm sure you'll find the perfect dress.

Not too much going on here. Busy with physical therapy. I got my seasonal vaccines today. I tried to schedule it when I have a few days with nothing going on, since they usually make me feel run down for a day, or maybe two.

Sending happy thoughts out to Mel's Living Room.

Mara sending hugs. Getting news like that is tough. I’m happy that other patients saw you crying and comforted you. So touching. At the end of the day your family has your back. You have a good plan at the hospital and it sounds reasssuring. In your pocket with a pastrami sandwich.

Eleanora I don’t know what your true diagnosis but I know it sounds concerning for sure. Sending his hope you find out soon for your peace of mind.

@brutersmom You are doing all the right things and I have nothing to add. Sometimes the med just builds up and you start reacting.

I am off Faslodex now because my current treatment doesn't need it to work, and I am glad. I was on it for two years and started to struggle at the end. I too am allergic to adhesives and removed the bandaids in the restroom on the way out of the clinic.

Re: Truqap experience

@doggolove I was on Truqap for 6 months in 2023; The treatment worked well, then I developed red patches on my arms, back, torso, and legs. I also have psoriasis and I thought that was what was spreading but in fact I was having a reaction to Truqap despite the anti-allergy medication. So we stopped everything and the redness disappeared after a few weeks and as my scan showed a recurrence of metastases we did not reintroduce Truqap and I switched to Xeloda which is a chemo tablet.
I understand that you feel bad right now, but the rash will eventually disappear and you'll be able to wear nice clothes again soon. This is quite a difficult ordeal and I hope that your situation improves quickly. I send you my most positive thoughts. Here it is winter, the snow has appeared, so the shorts and tops have gone back into the wardrobe.🙂
