Yes. I have already had several sessions of OT. I have some exercises for my left hand. Will see an OT in the city to have the custom splint made. Then OT at the local hospital 1 1/2 mile away. A nice bike-ride away.

Wren, can you bring a heating-pad with you for your next chemo?
Into light, any reasonable measures necessary to maintain life. IV chemo is not being on a ventilator. Live well, and live long.

Sandy, yes still, your plate is over flowing! Sad to hear of your son’s marriage breakup. The things going on with ICE make me cringe, and I’m no where near it. I can’t imagine seeing it first hand, and worrying for your helpers. Fingers crossed for a smooth move back in.
Wren, prayers for your chemo treatments. Bring a blanket, there is nothing worse than having to stay there and freezing.

I had a lot of errands to get done today. I went to a local candy store for Halloween candy pops - ghost, skull, pumpkin - for goodie bags I make up for grandniece & grandnephew. I usually sent a card & Venmo to nephew because he’s been away at college, but he graduated in May and at the last minute I realized he needed a goodie bag too. Then Aldi’s and $ store for odds and ends. Lastly a stop at gf house to drop off Christmas gifts. I know that part sounds ridiculous, but we leave Wednesday.
I was able to see her husband for the first time since seeing him intubated in the hospital. He looks good - he’s lost 27 pounds, and has a nicely trimmed beard. He says it’s because the food tasted horrible at both hospitals, and he couldn’t shave while hospitalized. He’s scheduled back to PT for the knee on Monday. He was sipping on a coffee and said it’s his first of the day. He said he’d have had 3 by now but it doesn’t taste the same now. We guessed tastebuds are off from all the medications. What a relief to see him doing well. It was really touch and go.
I really haven’t started packing to leave. But tonight I had a book and thought I should pack a few. A few books ended up 10-12! Then I looked at a pile of shirts and shorts, put them where they need to be to get put in my suitcase. It’s a start! I have a list too, haha, which should/will help.
We had rain just about all day long, and it stayed in the low 50’s. Tomorrow there is a wind advisory all day. I’m hoping it’s not too bad so the kids can get out to trick or treat.
It’s after midnight so I can say Happy Halloween! 🎃

Good for you brutersmom! I finally made it back to the gym today. I can only do upper body until 3 months after the surgery but it felt great. I did lose some strength in the month I've been away but it felt good to start back up again.

I took a hand strength test at the gym today. My scores were 55 and 53. Interestingly that is the average for a 40 to 50 year old. I am 73. To bad they don't have scores for the rest of the body. The weight is can press has decreased since restarting cancer drugs but I keep pushing. Dexa scans puts my bone density as the average 40 year old. I guess it does pay off.

@cookie54 I am grateful you are having no mouth issues, that certainly makes life easier. In your pocket that bone density has improved for you and yes I did see the devastation. Very sad but glad to see other countries are coming together to help, even Trump is pledging help which is good.
I wound up in bed early yesterday so woke up earlier and still had 8 hours sleep. I am exhausted but that is not unusual the first couple of days post Herceptin so nothing to worry about there. No real schedule except for getting recycling out, have a lot of containers that held cat litter to go out and multi paper bags to recycle from Walmart. I am also working on organization in the living room. Got several containers left to organize and put in a more sensible arrangement. Will put my instant pot and the wet dry vac in one or two containers and they can be moved out to the living room. Wet dry sitting on top of one of the washers but does not need to take up residence there.Recycle needs to be corralled too. I do put stuff in the bin outside as I run out of room in my house to store stuff.
I am not sure what I want to have for breakfast, have a craving for the Mcdonald's I did not order yesterday.
EDIT I did order an egg mcmuffin meal with two hashbrowns, extra butter and mayo and tea. It should be good. Later planning to open beans, add some spicy bbq chips and chop those into the beans and add the mix to some mexican rice I will make I think, that would be a fairly healthy meal.
I actually was missing DB so I called him and just talked to him. I did mention my annoyance at the brain cyst. He said it is OK to feel upset about it. I told him that in thinking about it, I knew what I could be facing and could not sit around and cry all the time and that I need to pay attention when I see the doctor. I mentioned that I was concerned about SIL and will be glad when she feels able to tell me what is happening, told him I was not angling for that info. Will wait until she wants to share. Told him I may call sometimes so we can keep contact, we are not doing groceries anymore as I can get what I need but a visit to have a coffee and chat would be good and I did apologize for assuming he could or would do stuff for me without asking if he could. It was a good chat and we did tell each other that we loved each other. This got me feeling better about things.
Thinking I could have a mini pizza and a half slice of garlic english muffin for dinner, I did not get much done today, napped on the couch a lot but I am unbothered by that either. I can take garbage and recycle out next week, keep them out back til next week on garbage day in the garbage bin, recycles are still going into a large container. Tigger has made a new hiding spot on top of the bigger bin lids but that is fine. At some point, plan to put the instant pot in a container as well as the wet dry vac, probably separately.
EDIT did not have pizza and garlic muffin, wound up having peanut butter and some of the honey nut Cheerios, was good as usual. Probably have pizza at breakfast, I will see.
I hope all had a good day, Happy Halloween to those celebrating with scary movies, handing out candy or whatever you may do. I was in pockets all day long as well.

@tanya_djamila - Oh Tanya, your trip sounds so nice. I've never really been out of the country, except for Canada and Mexico. So glad you are getting to see so much of the world. Well, you're probably getting home about now, so have a good night in your own bed and a wonderful weekend.

Wren, hoping that chemo SE are minimal and it works. ((HUGS)).
Today was St. Thomas and we had a tour that took us to various highlights of the island and ended with a tram ride to the top of the mountain overlooking the harbor. Visually it was beautiful, it was incredibly hot though. Thevtradewinds did help, but my shirt was soaked by the time we returned to the ship. I will post pictures from Puerto Rico and St. Thomas.
Chris, hope you can get new orthotics and your cast removed soon. Will you be having hand PT once it is removed?
Tonight was a wear orange night. Normally this is not a color I wear, but I had bought a tee that has a quilt like patch sewn on it that has an orange headed and tailed bird as part of it. I also brought an orange scarf I had been gifted on an earlier cruise. I tied it to the strap of my purse.
