@cookie54 I cannot agree more, nursing services or check ins are enough security for me. SIL is worried about DB stress but to be honest, I was surprised he was stressed. Planning to keep them out of minor issues and not talking about the gym until I have signed up and been there a few times. I have also missed a treadmill in my house too.

Mara, glad to hear you have a plan. My DH keeps asking me to join him at the gym everyday but so far I have declined. He stays for 90 minutes and I don't want to sit around for that long. It is a rec center and part of our HOA so it is already paid for. I have no other excuse, but perhaps I should try it at least once. Thanks for the encouragement. Maybe once this headache finally subsides…

Well, SIL filled me in on DB worries about me. Everytime something happens, he apparently gets really stressed out, to the point they do not think I can look after myself. I think they want a care facility which I could not afford. I need to convince them that I need to stay here, can look after my own cleaning etc. I am going to ask about services where someone comes and check again.
I did call SIL back and let her know I can look into check in services from a nursing service, I have been without a wellness check call or person coming in to check on me for quite a while.

@goldensrbest So sorry to hear about the passing of Gamble, such a beauty. Glad she was able to pass peacefully at home.I know aren't any words that can ease your pain, will send a giant hug❤️.
@mara51506 Happy to hear you are refreshed and came up with a good plan. It's a win win for sure. You get to get out of the house safely and work on endurance. I can understand your DB's worries but sounds like you do fine on your own. The check-in nurse is a perfect compromise.

Yay for the good mammogram and shrinking fat necrosis. Hopefully you’ll get the CT results soon, The radiologists are probably on vacation which would slow down releasing results, lol. Keep us posted.

I had my mammagram and ultrasound done yeasterday. It came out good. My fat necrosis is getting smaller and the spot I am feeling they think it’s scar tissue but if it gets bigger to come back in. Still haven’t got my CT back. It was Tuesday’s. Thought it would show in my portal soon.

My Pet Scan and 48th cycle of Palbociclib +Fulverstant
I want to mention that my Pet Scan today shows NEAD and am on my 48th Cycle of Pablo+Fulvestrant.. also my 21st year of initial diagnosis and 4th year if mets. So my message is hang in there, medical science has brought a lot of hope .

@intolight Glad I have a plan as well, feeling like it would be a good idea to get some good and safe walking at the gym, take my Paratransit there. Just to make sure legs are strong. Only reason I would not tell family yet is because they would not be happy about me going there. If they notice my legs seem stronger, then tell them I joined the gym to access the treadmill. Only two to three days a week.

@goldensrbest - So very sorry to hear about Gamble. She looks so sweet and lovable in that chair. Sending a hug, and thanks for the photo. There are just no words for the loss of a pet.
@mara51506 - Sounds like things are smoothing out and getting back to being more routine for you, and that's good. Darn heat! I bet if it had just been a cooler day, you would have been fine and successful with your walking attempt. I agree with Goldens, that from what I'm aware of your daily life being like, things are not dire. Take it easy and have a hug!

canarycat, she is our 5th Dalmatian. Our last, Lita, lived to be 14 and the one before her, Kimber, made 15 years and 2 months. We had her for the full 15 years and 1 week. She was so large by 7 weeks, her mom weaned her and her breeder, a vet, let her go early.
