@livinglifenow - Congratulations on the good PET scan results. There's nothing like the great relief that comes with good scans. Nice photo of your snow too. Thanks for posting it.

Good afternoon, all!
Just got the results of this morning’s PET scan. Everything looks great. My MO was concerned about the ground-glass opacities (GGO) on my October pet scan. They are now resolving and there is no uptake. Probably from my upper respiratory infection (URI) in early October. But, when I had a chest CT in December to check on the GGOs, my MO was concerned, because they hadn’t improved, and both she and the radiologist were leaning toward new cancer in the lungs. However, I had also had two more colds, one of them possibly Covid, since the October pet scan. These illnesses could cause delayed resolution of the GGOs.
I’m curious to see what my MO says when I see her tomorrow…

I also have the GGO in my lungs but it has been stable since the first significant reduction earlier this past year. We are pretty sure it’s cancer.
My Jan scan showed slight progressions on a few bone lesions which took us all by surprise. My MO said the increases were considered minor and if I were in a clinical trial, they would not be considered progression. He considers me still stable. But, can’t ignore it. We did the guardant test to learn more to decide if we need to change or add to treatment. However, my doc is very hesitant to change course yet. TBD…
We got 21” of snow!❄️❄️❄️Teddi, my pup, loves it! We, not as much but it is pretty!

We got 10 inches here and I’m so OVER the snow. I heard today there is another storm coming in this Saturday and Sunday that’s going to bring more snow for us. I’m ready to pack up and move to Florida 🙄🤦♀️😀🌻🌺🌼🌸

Good Morning, Loungettes! Happy Monday Monkey Dayt! I'm waking up to a good 8 inches of snow, thank goodness it's the very light, crystalline, sweep away with a broom type and not the heavy, wet type. Snow is still coming down pretty steadily. Poor Zoe had to turn around in circles for quite a while before she could clear away enough snow so her lady bits didn't drop into it when she peed! The first time she squatted she came right back up right quick! The look she gave me was pure "WHY?????" Colt looked pretty disgusted that all he got for his ayem yard perimeter sniff check was a pile of snow on his snout.
Carole--If I ever made that drink for myself, I would use hot coffee, I can't stand the taste of cold coffee!
mOmmy--at least it stayed above zero here last night, even if it was by all of 4 degrees.
Miriandra--I don't usually go for red wines, but the Madeira sounds like one to try. I'll have to ask a the next WWW meeting if anyone has some and where to get a taste.
Slightly out of season but still appropriate:
Christmas Snowstorm Margarita
Ingredients
• ▢1/3 cup unsweetened coconut milk
• ▢1-2 teaspoons honey or granulated sugar, adding more or less to taste
• ▢2 ounces silver tequila
• ▢1/2 ounce coconut rum
• ▢1/2 ounce orange liquor
• ▢juice of 1/2 lime
• ▢fresh mint, for serving
• ▢sugared cranberries, for serving
Instructions
• 1. Bring the coconut milk and sugar to a simmer over medium heat in a small saucepan. Simmer 1 minute, then remove from the heat and let cool. To quickly chill, add a of couple ice cubes.
2. Fill a cocktail glass with ice.
3. In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila, coconut rum, orange liquor, lime juice, and coconut milk. Shake to mix. Strain into your prepared glass. Top with sugared cranberries and mint.

I hope that everyone is doing well. I am in PA and have about 18 inches of snow. I am trapped in here, but I don't have to go anywhere.
Everything is closed down here…stores, post offices, most medical offices, etc.
@Elenora … When I was first dx'd with BC in 2002, the internet was brand-new and I had nowhere to go for communication. But I did join a BC support group at my local hospital. I ended up running the group, until it was closed down right before Covid and also by a doctor who wanted to run her own group…(sadly). And through the years, as we met monthly, I became very good friends with all of the members. It was so nice to be able to get together with good friends to share our experiences. And I was on chemo much longer than the rest of the ladies, who were mostly earlier stages.

Significant Tippy event: As I told you, the bathroom in subzero weather is the pottyroom. I traced a bad smell to the pottyroom last week. I cleaned it up and flushed both the toilet and the tub. Yesterday Tippy indicated the pottyroom again. It was pee in the tub. I flushed it. then I realized that if flushing the tub is important to him, what about me? Since I live alone, I don't always flush. Maybe that bothers him. OK. I will change my ways.
I am using K-tape on both of my thumbs and my knee, too. Good stuff.
