Update on the wedding guests. As of Monday, Charlotte guests were home but flights were delayed several hours. Bride and Groom went to Key West so didn't have to worry about getting back to Boston but several of her MIT friends were delayed. The Syracuse folks had driven to Newark and were still stuck in Miami when I talked to my sister on Monday. Given the weather in Syracuse, I don't think they were really unhappy.
Saw my PC today and he says I'm healthy. He's changed practices so the paperwork was a hassle. Now that he's seen me once, he can request my records but he couldn't take them with him. I've followed him from several office locations. Hope this is his last move. This office is significantly closer though.
Stay safe everyone. Weather sounds absolutely awful.

Sadly, my sciatica is still very intense, so Iβm having trouble even walking! Have my first PT appointment today. Hope it helps. Will let everyone know.
On a bright note: I had my labs, PET scan, and ECHO this week and everything looks great. So thankful for that.
Now to get back on track with exercise!

@irishlove - So sorry they changed your appointment time. Those earlier times can be difficult for a lot of reasons. When they switch on me like that, I usually just say no, and that I'll reschedule instead, but sometimes I'll go ahead and do the time they want. Anyway, I am sending crossed fingers, good wishes, and hugs π€, and putting all in your pocket! Have a successful day and a very restful night.

@chicagoan - Thanks for letting us know that you are feeling good enough now to be back at your pickleball. You're making some real good and steady progress after your hip ordeal. Great to hear!
@livinglifenow - I think PT should help a lot. I've had a lot of aching and weak muscles; some of it sciatica like. All the medical people I talked to about it told me that PT and "strengthening my core" were the answers. I started with some PT and it seemed to help, but unfortunately I have not been consistent with it (for all kinds of reasons), and I can really feel it. I think that if you stay with it, you'll do really well and feel much better and more able.

Hi all, Iβve been doing strength training for my upper body once or twice a week for past month and spin class once a week. Starting pickle ball this Friday too so very happy to see I am not alone @chicagoan π Doing my best to keep moving and not give into the fatigue which is always around the corner for me.
Thankful to my DH and close friends who support me. Also very thankful for you all, as I mentioned a while ago, for keeping me incentivized !!!
@livinglifenow Pam, I pray your sciatica starts easing up; I had terrible sciatica when pregnant with my son and donβt wish that pain on anyone. πππ

@eddiej Pickleball is so important to me socially but I just love the intensity. It makes me feel young. So good to be back after an 8 month hiatus.

at the end, doctors suggest but the decision is yours and not for them to take!
I think you jave to put in a balance what you prefer, tu reduce the chanes of it comming back again OR to continue with the risk of recurrance but conserving your brest.
Me personaly I didnt feel so bad on loosing my brests, to me living with the fear of recurrence was worse that lossibg my brest. Because not always it comes back as ddcis, you have been blessed of it being in sutu again
But you have the right to choose and decide what risks to take and what to do with your own body.

@birdsndognow What a beautiful walking stick.
I am back to pickleball. The first week was rough-I was so sore after just playing about 4 games but now it has been almost a month and I feel like I am getting back in shape. I've also been going to the gym to lift weights and ride the stationary bike. It's been very cold here so I haven't been doing too much walking.

Iβm so sorry you are going thru this. I went off the affinator a few times for various reasons, and didnβt see any changes in markers or disease progression. I hope this is the same for you.
How frustrating not to be able to find the dose you need. I was on the 10mg the whole year I was taking it.
Good luck - hope those liver enzymes snap back.
