Re: Can we have a forum for "older" people with bc?
Carole, hope you like what the hairstylist does to style you. I used to enjoy the pampering. Now, my Covid hair style gets a trim now and then. I need one soon.
DB came to paint dining room and has painted ceiling, did all the cutting in for the walls and at the chair rail, and has one coat done. He's so much faster than I am and I hate all the cutting in. I have crown moulding at the ceiling that is oak so you can't get paint on it. He'll paint the woodwork, too. He does nice work and I am loving the color I picked though DH wanted me to keep the old color which we have had for like 20 years. Time for a change and it will pick up this color in the rug, drapes and chair seat covers.
Misty decided to check out what he was doing and I hear him say, "check her feet because their are cat prints all over my tarps". Sure enough she walked through the paint tray with all 4 feet, had it on one leg and there were foot prints all over the wood floors, the island counter and anywhere she had walked. She was howling the entire time I washed her feet and because she has those tufts of hair between her toes, it took multiple washings to get all the paint out. Thank goodness, it was the ceiling paint which is white. I'll confine her to the basement tomorrow. What a terror she is.
It was supposed to reach 41 today, but my car registered 35 degrees. It was sunny. I had an appointment with pain management for my post procedure follow up so I used the stick vacuum this morning to test my back. I have had 3 episodes of back pain responsive to Tizanidine since the epidural and no pain after running the vacuum, so I did get good results. I hope they continue.
Hope everyone had a great day and waving "hi".

Love the winter photo with the little deer. Glad you're entertained by the Olympics, Betrayal. I probably like the summer competition better. I do like the ice skating.
I have a hair appointment at 10:30. Not sure what direction/suggestion I will give to my hair stylist. My hair is longer now than it has been in years and is fairly easy to manage. Recently I got out a brush/dryer that I haven't used and started using it instead of relying on the dryer/round brush styling technique.
Guess I had better get moving.
Hi to all.

The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character - that is the goal of true education.
